I woke up and I felt different. I know, I know, I’m really susceptible, (or maybe suggestible?) anyway, I really did wake up at 5:30 (my old timing, which I haven’t seen since pre-Paris days, that’s for sure) wanting to get up and write Dujour (and that hasn’t happened since pre-Paris, either!). It seems that this planet of changes is changing me, yet again!
Actually, I knew there was a retro (or direct) today, and I couldn’t remember who it was. Somehow, I remembered that it was Jupiter (this one actually happens on W’s birthday, July 6!) When I realized it was Uranus, I was properly impressed by its influence, since it is the planet I have been ‘dancing’ with lately.
I know you have heard this all before, but it is the planet that was discovered by William Herschel around 1780’s, and within fifty years of its discovery, the world saw: the Spanish Revolution, the French Revolution (adios, Marie Antoinette) the Russian Revolution (sayonara Nick & Alexandria) the American Revolution (Good by King George 3rd—the ‘mad’ king—wow, some things never change!) and the INDUSTRIAL Revolution (and we’re still trying to recover from THAT one!) http://www.nineplanets.org/uranus.html As the planet of Revolution, we have SEEN its power!
Speaking on a personal level, I have been feeling this planet for quite some time, big time! It’s crossing my rising sign, also called The Ascendant, and when Uranus crosses the Ascendant, it changes how you ‘look’ upon the world—and how the world ‘sees’ you, as well!
(My memory is slipping...did I all ready tell you my story about one woman I read for years ago with this aspect? When I told her this changes people, she said, "PJ--I just had my nose done and my eyes fixed, if I change any more, I will have to start wearing a name tag to bed at night!")
Writing is new to me (just the last couple of years) and this is how long this planet has been influencing my chart. The traveling thing was such a perfect foot soldier for experiencing this aspect, since, “Seeing things another way, changing quickly, and rebellion from routine” are all expressions of this transit, and travel creates ‘em all!
How will this affect your chart and your life? Of course, it depends where the 14th degree of Pisces is in your chart, that’s your personal point of change. Still, the ‘in general’ answer is, now that Uranus is retrograde, the power of revolution and change is now moving backward into the regions of our sub-conscious minds, since the sub-conscious is where those retrogrades go!
So, it’s revolution in the sub-conscious—good! This means we need to bring our rebellion to our ‘belief’ system! I saw a terrific bumper sticker yesterday, it said: ‘Don’t believe everything you think’. What a perfect motto for Uranus in this position!
It’s wake up time, and looking at the state of all things, I hope we use it!
ONE MORE THING…..this transit is happening at the fate-full 14th degree. The US Saturn is 14 degrees Libra. The 9-11 chart has three 14 degree points—the rising sign (14 Libra) Mercury (14 Libra) and transiting Saturn (14 Gemini). W’s Sun is really, really close to 14—13 degrees Cancer, 47 minutes, Karl (sig heil) Rove’s rising is 14 degrees Sagittarius, etc…Dick Cheney’s Arabian Part of Fortune is 14 degrees Libra in the House of Money (this is why he is a ka-zillion-aire with all of our money, for his weapons and Halliburton connections—no one has ever profited from death and destruction more!)
The 14th degree is quite influential to this team of distructos. In the Tarot, #14 is the card of Alchemy—turning lead into gold! These guys have indeed done this. They have ALL our gold now, and we just better ‘get the lead out’!

You may have tuned Dujour in yesterday and encountered a Great Nothingness. Turns out, this is my state-of-mind since I returned from my journey.
At first, I called it ‘jet lag’. After two weeks, I realized that I stretched that excuse as far as I could, and I had to really look at what was going on inside of my head. Here’s the thing; I am out of touch with things around me. I usually have a great spiritual love for everyone and everything, bust since I returned, I have had a hard time summoning it. I am critical, judgmental, and angry these days. How the heck can I write a loving, uplifting and inspirational Dujour, when my feelings are not in line with those thoughts?
Now, lest you think that I just blame George Bush (always), I realize it is much bigger than that. I, personally, have been going through my once-in-a-lifetime Uranus in Pisces crossing my Ascendant. It is a divorce aspect, and I have been divorcing my species.
If you think that is easy, think again. As much as I love my critters, conversation with them is just too thin. Besides, there are members of the human species that are my favorite part of life. I have watched Uranus/Ascendant transits for years, and I have not been keen on it happening to me. I love my illusions, and I would just as soon keep them exactly as they have always been, but now that I have seen ‘Par-ee’, I’m having a heck of a time here on the farm.
The ultimate meaning of Uranus, you see, is FREEDOM. You remember I always say that there are two freedoms, right? Free from, and free to. In order to be free to create and maintain responsibility for our creations, we need to be free from our limited, judgmental minds. I am not doing too well with that lately. Maybe it’s all of that wheat that I ate in France?
What really concerns me though, is the distinct possibility that if we do not do something SOON, our freedoms (as we have come to expect them) will be gone.
For example, do you know that the 'government' of g.bush now keeps a data bank of everything your kid says on 'My Space?' Bush now wants to make it mandatory for everyone to have a 'government card' ( On May 11, 2005, President Bush signed the Real ID Act, mandating a
national ID card for every American by May 2008. Without it, you will not be allowed to hold a job in America or have a bank account. In other words, without the ID card a person will not be able to buy or sell.
The Bible prophesies a time when every human being on earth will be forced to take a mark or a number without which they will not be permitted to buy or sell. This mark is known in scripture as the mark of the beast (Revelation 13:16-18).

ID CARD FORCED ON EVERY AMERICAN - 2 YEARS
Maybe it's my Uranus transit, but this just doesn't sit well with me.
In fact, I must say that even though I avoid the news as much as I can lately, the silent allowing of torture by all of us, the refusal to take a small amount of money from the top 1% of income to support libraries and pre-school (the failed Prop 81 & 82), and now the fact that one more time there is a genocidal movement to assassinate Big Bird, have just plain done me in.

Well, you can see where my mind is at. It is not peaceful.
So, this week, all ya get is where the moon is. If you can read the Daily Stars, well here they are. There is little astro-activity this week anyway. Next week is a big one, so hoping I can lift myself up enough to give you some insights on the up-and-coming transits.
By the way, remember last week Luna went into Libra and transited the social section of the zodiac? I have thought about that quite a bit. Relationships were the BIG topic in all of my readings, not to mention I was having such a Dickens of a time relating. This week Luna will travel from Capricorn to Aries. This section of the wheel is all about government and authority. Great. More bush-isms. Agggghhhhhhh…….
