The Goddess of Cyberspace, Dianna, returned from her time away.  Within minutes and with one stroke of her wand, she untangled the terrible mess that I somehow had created with my internet program, and she got it to work again.  I’m so embarrassed.

For a day or two I posted my entries on ‘Message from PJ’ (didja find me?) but then I screwed that up, too!  Well, Dianna’s back and my world has order again.  Sigh.  Perhaps we should send her to the United Nations? (She’s very calm—and she gets things done!)

Well, while I was ‘off’, I got some ideas about re-organizing my site.  I am going to put up one more column for articles and letters that I think everyone might enjoy—like the hilarious letter from John Cleese!  Wasn’t that fun for a change?  Stay tuned...the new site "look" is coming!

Today I have another entry, and this one is very encouraging.  It was sent by one of my oldest and dearest friends, thank you Linda!  I need to find a place to keep it up on the site for a while so everyone will get a chance to read it!  It will follow today’s column………that, and last Friday's entry that I couldn't get up on the site!  But for today………

Did you all get a chance to howl at that amazing Harvest Moon on Saturday night?  Wowie zowie!  It was full in Pisces, of course, since the Sun is traveling in Virgo.

After creating that moon, she ‘peaked’ and then went straight to Void. (After you make a Full Moon like the Harvest one, what’s left?)  Anyway, at 2:43 a.m. in the middle of the night, into the fires of Aries, our Luna plunged.

Traveling through Aries, she has already sextiled Neptune in Aquarius at 3:45 a.m. (for the pleasure of your sweet dreams) and her next aspect occurs at 3:00 this afternoon when she will trine Pluto in Sagittarius.  This is traditionally called an aspect of Power.  Of course, this means that some will grab it and others will loose it.  To contribute to that theme, at 3:36 p.m. the last lunar aspect of this Monday is her opposition to Jupiter.  This too is felt like a power struggle.  All of that power and tension scores the day—how very Monday!  Anyway, the struggled is too exhausting so our poor Luna will take off to the Void until tomorrow in the wee hours of the next day, at 4:47 a.m. when she 'grounds' herself in the earth sign of Taurus.

So there we are, those are the aspects of this ‘Jour’—and we’re back to our ‘normal’ routine.  I don’t know about you, but I feel better now!

There’s still the matter of the two postings that I have for you!

The first is last Friday’s column, which I couldn’t post on the site at that time due to my technical shortcomings.  It is about an aspect that is and has been in the background of our planetary line up for a while now.   It lasts quite a while so we are not too late to find out about it, and here it is:

Thinking about how weird this last week has been (have you experienced this, too?) I have been scouring our stellar cap for clues.

All right, there IS a BIG old elephant sitting in the middle of the room, (has been all week) but I just haven’t had the ‘Chi’ to talk about it, but I guess it can’t be avoided any longer.

There is a major Yod, or Finger of God occurring between Mars, Jupiter and Pluto—all of them traveling at the 21st degree of the signs that they are in!

Okay, Grasshoppers, have we ever talked about Yods?  (I suppose you would remember a weird word like that!)

A Yod is a configuration with two quincunx’s traveling within 1 to 2 degrees. (This is getting stranger still) This means that two planets are traveling at 150 degrees connecting to a third planet from opposite angles on the circle,  to the one planet in the middle.  (Whew!  Don’t worry—you won’t be tested on this!)

No matter what I do, I can’t figure out how to describe this (why I haven’t even tried all week) If I had my color charts and pointer sticks, it would be a snap, but until I figure this out, just ‘space along with me’.

This configuration is called The Finger of God, as it is like a celestial clue—a pointer stick, as it were, to the center planet, which is the object of two.  This planet ‘points the way’ to the events, feelings and energies of that chart.

This week, at the center of our week-long Yod, two large and dramatic planets, Jupiter in Libra and Pluto in Sagittarius, stood on two sides of our circle and sent these 150 degrees ‘laser rays’ off to Mars in Taurus!  Mars is the planet at the center of it all, and that is never an easy thing.

Mars, remember, is the force of Yang.  He is young, masculine, aggressive and full of testosterone, the substance that makes humans crazy.   By the way, Yang is not limited to males of the species, we ALL have our share, and it’s just that they get the chemicals more directly! Pure Yang is about disruption, violence and procreation.

This is an intense energy that is in the ‘collective force’ these days, and it has knocked me out.  I have been so out of sorts; you might have read between the lines—heck, I think it was all over the lines!  This energy is hard to control, and what it represents is a challenge to us all.  It makes us cranky, frightened, angry and disconnected!

When we get too yang, we have real problems.  Oh yeah, we go to war and stuff like that—so what else is new, but the real problem with yang energy is that it is impulsive and immediate, and needs strong yin to balance it, which is receptive and absorbent.

Okay, in English.

Yang is inclined towards instant gratification and grabbing power in the moment at any cost.  Without a strong force of Yin to balance it, (which is designed to delay gratification and create power over time), we have a tendency to make choices that are reckless and have negative ramifications for the future.

This is just a generalization, mind you, but you see how it has affected us this week, and the choices we make now (Yod’s portend historical turning points) will be in influence for many years into the future.

So this yod in the sky is increasing the power of the (already potent, due to the fact that Mars is ‘parked’ in one section of the sky—having a loooong transit in Taurus) Mars energy.  And this we see everywhere.  In one of my reference books, it is said that a quincunx ‘encourages unpredictability’.

This yod, by the way, is a slow mover.  These planets have been in this position (getting closer each day) since just before the beginning of the hurricane!  It will be in the sky for at least three more weeks, around the middle of October, when Jupiter will finally move far enough away to break it up, but one leg of this configuration, Mars quincunx Pluto, will last off and on, until Mars gets out of Dodge in February!

I’m sure I will be writing more about this one, stay tuned!”

Okay, now the wonderful and encouraging entry from my friend Linda, a perfect antidote to this Martian Finger of God:

We know warfare, tyranny, and strife. We have pitted neighbor against neighbor, tribe against tribe, nation against nation, and faith against faith. We have seen tensions rise. We have seen hatred boil over. And we have seen peace won at terrible costs.
Now we are faced with a global conflict that is so nebulous, so ill-defined and ill-conceived, that it may never end. All we are told is that there is our side, and there is the other side. That our way of life is at stake, and we must triumph at all costs. As the coffins multiply, we grieve our own losses.
But the horror of never-ending war brings with it the chance for a truly global resistance.

And so we will create a new side – the side that wants to understand, the side that seeks out the root causes of our struggle, the side that will triumph over conflict itself.

We will devise a ritual to transcend the double-standard of grief, to transform their dead into our dead, and our dead into theirs. And then we will challenge those around us to do the same.
Two minutes is all that we need for this global ritual of reconciliation. On November 11th, fall silent for two minutes in honor of all innocent victims – in London, in Afghanistan, in New York, in Iraq, in Chechnya, in Madrid. Two minutes of silence, of remembrance, of reflection, to consider the choices that we have made and the path we will follow into the future.
