All night last night while Mercury was traveling at the last degrees of Virgo, I was in total Virgo heaven.  Wally & Justin, my ‘in-house’ Carpenter Gods finally built the storage unit we have needed for years (21 years, to be precise) and folks, it is THE ULTIMATE storage unit!  I am surrounded by my beloved plastic boxes (it’s an illness, I know) and I am re-organizing the entire household.

I woke up excited, I just love lining things up and I knew I had a couple of hours before I would go to ‘work’.  I was moving boxes outside when I realized that I forgot to write Dujour! That’s the first time that that ever happened, and that’s a perfect example of Mercury in Virgo!

You know all of the cleaning and sweeping in New Orleans has been taking place under this aspect, too.  It has probably given everyone a tireless determination and the feeling that when complete, everything would be better. (Just this transit of Mercury in Virgo, friends, not confidence in the government OR the weather)  All of that will change, however, as at 9:40 a.m. when Mercury will leaves his manic ‘turbo clean’ and ‘problem-solver’ placement in Virgo, and slide alongside The Sun (who will arrive in two days), in Libra.

Ah, even-minded, idealistic and fair and balanced” ha ha, we have heard it all before!  You know the situation, Grasshoppers; we’ll see what happens when we get there!

The thing is, there is often spin to this one, Mercury ‘ruling’ the mind and all.  In addition to that, you the USA’s Saturn, you may recall, is in Libra.  Every time a planet crosses this point, it has the (stronger than usual) potential to affect the laws of this country.  The Patriot Act was ‘born’ when Mercury crossed Saturn on the return from a retrograde.  It was returning after the first pass, three weeks earlier, on September 11, 2001, when two planes (transportation vehicles, Mercury transportation/communication planet) flew into the trade Center!  Yes, folks, this is the same aspect that was occurring at 9-11!

Mercury was 14 degrees of Libra, the exact degree of the USA’s Saturn.  It will hit that degree this year on the 28th of September. (Don’t worry—it has been happened every year since then.)  This year it’s probably going to be the John Roberts appointment.  A stealth missile!

As for Luna’s influence Dujour, she moved into Taurus at 4:47 a.m. and of course her first job in her new sign is to square Saturn!  Four times a month, like clockwork, she does this (make an angle to Saturn) and today she squares from her position in the 9th Solar House of the Zodiac.  That’s the house of Law, foreign affairs and religion, and they’re so much ‘ta-do’ with all of these issues, our Luna will be a busy girl today!  Just watch the spin machine and remember where the planets are.  Life can be amusing if you just watch and do not get caught up in the right and wrong of it.  (Yeah, like me—ha ha)

Anyway, off I go.  Large plastic boxes are singing to me, and yards of open storage space beckons like a long sandy beach.  Okay, okay, I WILL seek help—but it will have to wait until after I get this place clean!  Have a good one!
