Audrey went to the San Francisco Peace March in San Francisco on Saturday. I haven’t had a chance to talk to her since then, and I was scanning the news channels trying to find the story. On Saturday I saw brief mention on two major T.V. stations and on Sunday there was a piece reported by our wonderful Bay Area station, KRON. Other than that, zip, nada zero!
Don’t you wonder why there is so little reported about on Peace Marches in the news? I mean, here you have people all over the world joining together to do this totally co coordinated, creative thing—why wouldn’t that be newsworthy? Anyway, I’m here to report that there were millions of people all over the world joining together to say that, “War is stupid”.
War. Have you ever thought about what a totally weird custom this is? You go to a completely different country and you kill the people who live there. Not only that, but these days you leave pieces of depleted uranium that will be in their soil for thousands of years and cause cancer. We do this for their sake, mind you. Excuse me—do you teach your children that the way to solve an argument is to murder the person that they are having a disagreement with? I certainly hope not. Why then, when a country does this, do we think that it is not only all right, but a necessary and legitimate way to resolve diplomatic problems?
I’ll tell you; in a Patriarchy, war is a sacrament. Bring back the Matriarchy! I think that we have outgrown this custom of war and we need to look at very different ways to problem solve. Teams of ‘Shrinks’ need to be sent, and we need to learn to listen. Ah, well…until then, we live on a planet that “kills for peace”. Life is strange and somewhat illogical, here in Bizzaro World.
Anyway, small planetary potatoes going on today. Oh, yes, the backdrop of energies still includes all of those wild aspects that have been in the zone for so long; yods, fixed squares and the like. The Moon is the only one moving around much, and today’s Moon in Cancer is making a sweet trine to Venus in Scorpio (oops, slept through that one, happened at 4:55 a.m.) and a helpful sextile to Mars in Taurus this evening at 5:19 p.m. (We will less likely need to kill somesome to solve our problems with a Moon/Mars sextile).
However, there IS a little matter of a Moon/Jupiter square at 6:24 p.m. this evening. Jupiter, in the physical body ‘rules’ the liver. When the liver is stressed, we get cranky and angry. Sometimes a Jupiter square can prompt an over reaction, so breathe and do your calming exercises this evening at 6:24 p.m. Right after that, Luna takes off and Voids until tomorrow in the a.m.! We might as well take off with her.
Wishing you all a PEACEFUL night.
“All we are saying, is give PEACE a chance”.
