Dujourians, Good Monday to you all!

I am changing a thing or two here on the C*Star*S Site! 

In order to give you all maximum astrological power  I am beginning each Dujour now with the day’s aspects up at the top of the daily message. I will write about the ones I feel compelled to ‘muse’ about, but if I want to muse about something totally un-astrological, I can do this without you wondering what’s happening with those stars!

Other changes are scheduled to occur later this week, as I will have some time with the Goddess of Cyberspace, Dianna, and we will try to ‘clean up’ all of the loose ends here at The World of Dujour.  Stay tuned…change is occasionally exciting (instead of its usual traumatic)!

Okay, as for what’s up for today, once again you have all been spared from a particularly scathing rant about Columbus Day and a New York Times headline in this morning’s addition about the plundering of the polar ice cap region, (since the ‘non-existent’ global warming has melted the ice).  I spent all of my morning writing and deleting, and eventually I got it all out of my system.  I didn’t think anyone really needed to start their week with my theories about ‘our species’.  Besides, even though we’re celebrating a holiday today that is about the genocidal take over of the indigenous tribes of the US, it still IS a day off, and well, a day off is a day off.  (You can see my thinking here, and aren’t you glad I spared you?)

Okay, back to the stars. (Whew!)

You will notice that it is a first quarter moon today.  When you look up at Luna tonight, you will see her in her 1/4th outfit, with her light steadily growing.  The quarters always mean that the Sun and the Moon are in square to each other, and this is a powerful angle between them.  It is, in fact, one of the most popular positions of the Sun/Moon connection that humans rush to be born under!  (Second only to being born at the full moon, which any nurse or midwife will tell you keeps them hopping!)  Potential souls who wish to experience a life of personal creativity, ambition, leadership and individuality are drawn to this aspect, as long as they are willing to put up with the restless ‘inner conflict’ that accompanies it.  So, here we are at the first quarter, and that is our ‘forecast’ for the day! 

Crisp, clear fall day on Tara Firma, with the emphasis on creative, turbulent, dynamic energy!  Energy to do, energy to stress, energy to create….as always, it’s up to our own imaginations how we choose to apply it.

Okay, since it’s really, really late, that’s all there is….but hey, aren’t you glad you have your new “Daily Stars” to fill in the gaps?  Cool.  Now we’re flying WITH a net!
