Until we return....June 1, 2006!
I have been packing and unpacking for quite some time now—you all have heard me speak of it, n’est pas? Well, it was more than just playing with my luggage. It was actually trying to get my stuff in my luggage. It was a puzzle. I have X amount of stuff (and we’re talking minimal X amount!) but still, I was trying to get it into a teeny, tiny suit case, as per all of the expert advice. I know that everyone is right, too, after dragging giant suitcases across the sands of Sayulita last year, and wearing exactly three things. It’s just—I mean—it’s PARIS that I’m hauling this stuff to! I just HAVE to have the polka dot outfit, and the darling little tops that are warm for London and cool for the Rivera. And good grief, do you know how bulky vitamins are? Anyway, after weeks of paring and culling and leaving out everything, today I had an ephany! I got down the ‘one size bigger’ suitcase and –voila—everything slid in smoothly, and not only that, I even have room to get gifts!
What on Earth took me so long to figure this out? I think it was my Mars squares—you gotta watch those Mars squares.
I am leaving for my Grand Adventure with the Moon in Sagittarius. I didn’t even do this deliberately, but Sag rules travel, and it coincidentally rules my own, personal house of travel, so I am being ‘astrologically correct’. I do so strive for correctness (not).
Usually I am so nervous when I go anywhere (and I’ve hardly been anywhere) that I am nauseous, but today I feel oddly calm. I’m in the center of the cyclone I suppose, but it is a comfort, this delirium. I have been trying to write my ‘last Dujour’ for the last couple of days now, but my mind just isn’t working. It still isn’t, but still I will leave you with some ‘heads up’ on four astro-events that will occur while we are gone. I hope you can make sense of it.
There are four astrological ‘events’ that will occur while I am gone. You might feel them, since the energy will change around you.
On Friday, May 19th, @ 1:52 p.m. PST, smart and sassy little Mercury, our wonderful mind-effecting planet, will adieu from steady, grounded, solid, trustworthy Taurus. Next stop—spin city—it’s very own, quick, witty, mentally acrobatic home, Gemini! Here, Merc is in an aspect that is upbeat and, Mercury being the ruling planet of Gemini, the frisky, quick little bugger is totally at home here.
When a planet is in its natural sign, it flows. How this will react to the world, is that things may happen faster than usual. That’s hard to imagine, how fast can they go? Anyway, as always this will be great for some, nerve racking for others, and fun for most. Now, Merc is never far from the Big Boss, El Sol, and this time is no exception. Merc paves the way, and a little over 24 hours later on Saturday the 20th, our spring Sun will light up the part of the sky that is Gemini!!
Here, I would love to have the time and the mind to wax long and loquaciously about this delightful sign. I have two very important Gemini’s in my life, my darling first born, Gabriel, and my darling nephew, Justin! These two never fail to amuse, confuse, delight, insight, well—you get my drift! They are fun, and I have been studying this sign up close and personal for years, and although I will not rush to be a Gemini in my next life (they are really hard on themselves, their two sides are always at odds!) I will always sign up to have them in my life!
Just a word or two to all you Gems….. Since 2001, when Saturn moved into your Sun signs, you have been in the ‘what am I doing with my life???’ mode. The current aspect of Saturn in Leo will give you a greater range of options for how your life could develop—there may, in fact, be options you have never considered! This is a great cycle to open up, see the possibilities, and try everything. Just, please get some sleep. You know what I mean…too much burning the candle at both ends. Happy Birthday, dear Gems!
Okay, now here’s one we all feel. On Monday, May 22, at 6:06 a.m. PST Neptune will put his breaks on and go retrograde! You all remember that when a BIG planet changes direction, it is a woozy, spacey, and overwhelming feeling. Roller coaster stuff. I will be on a 200 mile an hour train, so you can better believe that I will be woozy….but that’s the best excuse of any, right? Watch your driving, don’t argue and insist you are ‘right’ because you may wake up the next day and feel the exact opposite way! That’s Neptune for you, illusions, delusions! Remember, there’s no delusion like a self delusion. Unless it is a Karl Rove delusion, he’s a pro!
The last event is one that will occur on Memorial Day. At 5:41 a.m. the beautiful planet Venus will leave her frisky stop off in Aries Land, and move into one of her most exotic and sensual homes, the sign of Taurus. Think: wafting perfume, saxophone music, savory tastes, massage and embrace, and you are in Venus in Taurus’s Zone. Ahh…. And we all have a little stop over here. This is a great time to just allow yourself to say YES to invitations! Go out with your friends, go and decide to enjoy, since that’s what those stars have in mind for you. Some times all you have to do is receive. To GIVE means you are in control—to receive means you have learned to trust. Humm….
Listen, I have just minutes. I wanted to be witty, give you something to remember me by, but of course, my procrastinating pattern has won out and I have no time for the 1,000 re-writes that would make this smooth. But here’s my message;
For all of you who have sent your stories, (Brenda, I just LOVE that Notre Dame was built on the site of a temple to Jupiter!) advice, I want you to know that I have listened and I am heeding you all. Pam, my Anxiety Alieve is in my take-on purse, ready to grab at a moments notice!
I apologize if I did not get back to you, I meant to but time just ran out. I will be a good student, and I am taking your addresses with me. I have many spots all ready marked out on my hips that say: Home of Future Croissant/Chocolate/Ice Cream —I can’t wait! (You will have to suffer through tales of dieting when I return, but ah, well….)
Okay, mes aimées….what can I say? I will miss you all, and take you all with me in my heart. Enjoy these fun, lively, sensual up and coming aspects, I will ‘see’ you all when we return!
Au Revoir, mes aimées, je t’aime Vous!!

Moon in Scorpio goes Void @ 11:51 p.m.
Mercury in Taurus sextile Uranus in Pisces @ 5:02 a.m.
Moon in Scorpio conjunct Jupiter in Scorpio @ 6:14 a.m.
Moon in Scorpio trine Uranus in Pisces @ 8:27 a.m.
Moon in Scorpio oppose Mercury in Taurus @ 9:06 a.m.
Moon in Scorpio trine Mars in Cancer @ 1:34 p.m.
Moon in Scorpio square Neptune in Aquarius @ 7:01 p.m.
Moon in Scorpio oppose Sun in Taurus @ 11:51 p.m. (Full Moon)
It’s a Full Moon Friday—really full—look at all of those aspects on the Daily Stars!
What it means, of course, is always relevant to your chart and your situation. What it means to this girl, who knows she will be spending next Friday night in Paris, is a rampant case of hypertension. Gasp, flutter, pity-pat—my heart, be still!
The key to our Paris apartment arrived last night in the mail. One key, with a key chain that says: Paris Notre Dame. Wow. It’s happening and I can hardly believe it, even though I have been fantasizing for years! Speaking of fantasy (aka: intention!) what’s this got to do with the Full Moon?
I’m glad you asked! How many times have we talked about our full moon/new moon papers? Well, Grasshoppers, tonight’s the night—again! Shortly before midnight (11:51 p.m.) Luna will ‘peak’ in Scorpio, and her power is at its greatest intensity! Take advantage of it—gather it up on your paper of choice. It’s not about wishing, it is about creating!
I know, it’s hard to believe it really works. I’m sure there are other factors of influence here, but I think all of that ‘visioning’ has allowed me to get this show on the road! I mean, do you know how many crinkly pieces of paper with “go to Paris” written on it that I find underneath lingerie and T-shirts in my dresser drawers? (By the way, the paper always crinkles when you leave it out in the night time dew) I have Eiffel towers (little metal ones, photos, screen savers, ear rings, calendars) everywhere, and a refrigerator magnet that says ‘Take Me to Paris’, which has been staring eye level at me for four years now.
Yesterday I was talking to my friend Angela, who wrote about her hearts desire true love at a New Moon, and he appeared six days later. That’s amazing results! Now, it’s true that she had perfect astrological aspects for this true love, and I think the timing must fit with your chart (so don’t expect results in a month, it has taken me several years) but continuously focusing on your intentions does two things: #1) It give us purpose and clarity—it’s good to know what your heart desires, so often we do not get what we want because we do not admit to ourselves what it is! And #2) It makes it happen, no matter how long it takes!
Anyway, here’s my point. Tonight, under the beautiful Taurus sky, the power of our Full Moon traveling through the mystical sign of Scorpio will increase and gather cosmic ‘chi’ until it ‘peaks’ within eight minutes from midnight (wow). This is potent power and it’s available to be harnessed!
It has taken me many years to do my impossible dream. Impossible because I could not fly. I could not afford it. I could not leave the kids. I was too fat. My hair was too short (too long, too curly and too straight). I was too scared. I never, however, lost my desire. I wrote it down, and wrote it down. A novel’s full of crinkly full moon papers later, I will gather this full moon’s light and fly away to Paris. What do you want, mes aimées le criquets?
Whatever you wish for, I wish for you.
Perhaps there will be one more Dujour, then au revoir……..

Moon Void in Libra enters Scorpio @ 5:25 a.m.
Moon in Scorpio square Saturn in Leo @ 4:04 p.m.
Mercury in Taurus oppose Jupiter in Scorpio @ 4:20 p.m.
The Neptune square yesterday took me down to the bare pegs, but I feel better today—how ‘bout you guys? Yesterday was one of those days when everyone I ran into said, ‘What’s going ON up there?’ I was too zonked to utter anything coherent, I just muttered….Neptune….. Neptune….which has an influence similar to an ‘ill wind’.
Today, praise the Goddess, that square has passed. Today, Luna heads into a fixed sign (let the festivities begin) but it is not until tomorrow that she lands in the center of all of her grand-square aspects, and she does this on the day of the Full Moon.
Tomorrow will be a Friday, Full Moon, Grand Square….you get the drift. Today is a rest and recover day, with a mere Moon square Saturn (that’ll get us going!) and a Mercury/Jupiter opposition, which we might feel as exaggeration and/or the tendency to overindulge. Great! I am planning to overindulge in discipline, list-checking and laundry—what about you?
Hope you return to a happy stasis!

Moon in Libra goes Void @ 10:14 p.m.
Moon in Libra square Mars in Cancer @ 12:51 a.m.
Sun in Taurus square Neptune in Aquarius @ 7:03 a.m.
Moon in Libra trine Neptune in Aquarius @ 9:31 a.m.
Moon in Libra sextile Pluto in Sagittarius @ 10:14 p.m.
Mon Dieu! I am so sorry, my dear Dujourians—I had every intention to continue spinning morning musings every day until I left, but I appear to be completely spin-less. I can’t think of a thing to say (which has never stopped me before) but this time I really CAN’T think of anything to say! At least, nothing of interest about the planets, or even about The Planet, for that matter….all topics unrelated to next Monday (take off!) are far away from my mind. My only hope is that W doesn’t launch WW 3 before I GET to Paris—I don’t want to ‘go’ (off world) before I see Notre Dame outside my window.
Er, upon second thought…. I DO have just one tiny, teeny little musing, this jour….the sun in Taurus will square Neptune in Aquarius today. This will occur two times every year, and the next time it will happen in Scorpio.
This aspect will make us woozy and confused, at worst angry and cranky (not a great driving day!) and at best, spacey and (at really best) creative! It’s all about parallel realities, not being able to ‘control’ time (I hate that one) and a tired, disorganized mind set.
Well—perhaps I’m Dujourless for a reason! Not traveling, just an ordinary Sun/Neptune square!!!
Well, knowing that, I feel better now. Hope it brings clarity to your day, too.
Since it’s Neptune and you’re choosing your 'reality', choose a creative parallel universe, if you have the option—and (trust me) today would be a good day to leave the ‘News’ and the ‘facts’ of your life (the ones you are not happy with) behind, as well!
Make it up, and make it good!
Au Revoir!

Moon Void in Leo until it enters Virgo @ 5:20 a.m.
Moon in Virgo trine Mercury in Taurus @ 10:39 a.m.
Just in the nick of time! Today, Mercury and the Moon both entered the helpful element of earth at about the same time. This, of course, gives us a trine which gifts us with an easy-going and can-do ‘sky’ pattern.
I really feel this Virgo Moon….I woke up exactly when it entered! It is 8:00 right now, and I have already washed and folded three loads of laundry, and I am changing the sheets in the spare room (this done between typing Dujour and paying the bills!) I am smug, and I am enjoying being a poster child for Virgo’s famed qualities of organization and cleaning, since they contribute so perfectly to my ‘master plan’ (which is a frantic attempt to create order before I leave)
Sometimes when the exact aspects are sparse like today it is like having a ‘karma free’ day. Sometimes, however, it feels like being disconnected. As always, it depends upon the schematic grid of your personal receptors, that is—how it aspects your chart.
I have Virgo in a great place, so I’m off to clean the fridge….right after I put up Sunday’s Daily Stars…..

Moon in Virgo
Mars in Cancer trine Jupiter in Scorpio @ 2:13 a.m.
Moon in Virgo sextile Jupiter in Scorpio @ 8:59 a.m.
Moon in Virgo sextile Mars in Cancer @ 9:25 a.m.
Moon in Virgo oppose Uranus in Pisces @ 9:48 a.m.
Moon in Virgo trine Sun in Taurus @ 4:24 p.m.
Mars in Cancer trine Uranus in Pisces @ 5:38 p.m.
Venus in Aries trine Saturn in Leo @ 7:56 p.m.
Mercury in Taurus square Saturn in Leo @ 8:02 p.m.
Wowie zowie! Yesterday, those ‘stars’ must have been storing up—because they are busy, busy, busy today!
Today, in the midst of so many aspects, we will be having an exact grand trine. Mars, Jupiter and Uranus are all traveling at the 13th degree of each of the three water signs, and this is a wonderful climate for creativity and emotional support.
For creativity, you could, of course, write a novel or paint a painting, but generally that isn't the first thing most of us think of, or have a clue how to start. What I do when I feel the creative call is I re-arranged my furniture! It always feels like I have a brand new house, and the change in the Feng Shui opens other creative channels for days! Hey--and it's free!
As for the emotional part, the best person to give us the support we need is ourselves. What is it you prefer for your healing ritual? Do you like to talk it out, or do you prefer to just go into a darkened room and enjoy some oblivion? Is it all about listening to the right music? Do you crave reading a novel? (always!) Or do you wish you had the time/money for a massage? You know what? That can be arranged, if you were trying to please some one else, you would go all out for them, why not for yourself? It would be a loving and supportive thing for you to do, to give yourself the object of your wish. What a terrific ‘omen’ for a grand trine in water at the 13th degree (the Goddess degree!) to be the recipient of a loving gesture from the person you hang out with the most—YOU! Be your own best friend, and have a fabulous trine-ie day!

Yip yip yip, ya-reba! Hola & Happy Cinco de Mayo!
Certainly, this is a holiday that has a possibility of being controversial today, as immigration is in the national spotlight.
Immigration, the ‘distraction topic de jour’ , sparks within us the belief in ‘scarcity’. Not enough money, not enough land, not enough food to go around, so we look upon each other as..…dangerous and other, and the ‘other’ wants to take something from us. Humm…, in my thirty-six years reading birth charts, I have never seen anyone from any place react vastly differently to the events here on Earthbase One than anyone else. In other words; human is human, and until the Aliens come and take over our bodies (don’t get me started on this topic) we really are all the same.
“All separation is an illusion, and the illusion of separation is the source of all human pain”. This, from the Course in Miracles, is a very powerful idea. When we believe we are different, it makes ‘others’ motives unreadable, and we project our darkest thoughts upon them. They, with their (often) darker skin and different voice patterns become ‘scary, unfamiliar’ beings. (BTW…the word ‘familiar’ means, ‘of the family’)
Anyway, you might just guess how I feel about this current issue. Not only am I fine with whomever wishes to be here, but heck, why do we have borders, anyway? It IS, after all, a ROUND planet! Besides, soon we will all be clamoring to get into India or China since they’ll be the only places on earth that will still offer gainful employment, if we are willing to install a ‘computer chip’ in our brain and give our life to ‘the corporation’. (Do you think I have read too much science fiction?)
Anyway, you know me—which way is it to The Revolution? And by now, you certainly know my philosophy, “No separation is a good separation” I am just for each of us living and playing and working and being with each other, that’s enough to keep us busy. We will always have our preferences in which humans we wish to hang out with—but if we did not have that extra thing in our head that judged someone before we knew them, maybe that circle of friends would be much bigger.
Hey--if your circle was much bigger, you’d be going to a great BIG party tonight! See, isn’t that better?
Have a wonderful, connected, joyous, celebration of the day, all peoples, freedom and liberation, and the beauty of Mother Earth in May.
Adios!

Everybody’s getting into the act today—check out those busy Daily Stars!
Happily, we got our ‘Saturn on the Moon conjunction’ out of the way in the middle of the night (so that’s what that restless sleep was all about!) and today we awaken to an array of interesting planetary angles made by those darling ‘fixed’ signs….which you remember are Taurus, Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius.
Actually, soon to join the fixed crew is our frisky little Mercury, who is winging today through the very tippy-toe last degrees of Aries-Land, and his message is all about completion. Wrap it up, file it, just do it—because tomorrow (in the middle of the night @ 1:28 a.m.) he will pad on into Taurus, and priorities will change; whatever is left undone just might wind up staying undone, cause it’s on to the next project!
Speaking of ‘onward’, there is a fun aspect on the books scheduled for this evening. At 8:49 p.m. Jupiter will trine Uranus—in water signs! This sounds like a little ‘pre’ Cinco de Mayo margarita practice! This is a social, conversational, recreational aspect…gosh, and it’s only a Thursday….well, don’t get too over-partied, you want to save yourself for mañana` which is a Friday and a holiday—ole!

You might have noticed lately that my Dujours are not coming every ‘jour’. Je regret that I am ‘dropping ze ball’ a bit, but I think the part of me that writes those Daily Stars, has all ready gone on to Paris! My musing mind only wants to think about clothing and luggage, and I’m sure that most of you would not be amused by this reverie.
Today’s star pattern is interesting, however, and it gave my wandering mind a topic ……today, Venus enters Aries!
Venus, our beauty queen planet, is back at the beginning of Zodiac Circle again. In Aries she is playful and frisky and energetic. Since she is never more than 48 degrees from her lover The Sun, she is often in Aries when Mother Earth does her blooming, ‘come back to life’ ritual. All of the wild, beautiful, energy of spring is a perfect reflection of our Goddess of Love in her Aries home!
Now, all of you Grasshoppers remember rule number #1 of astrology, n’est pas? It is everything is personal! Personally speaking, since MY Venus is in Aries, I think it’s the coolest place for it—but actually, most astrologers think otherwise.
Venus is not patient in Aries (er, well, perhaps that’s true) and she is easily bored (well, she IS used to the wild and constantly changing excitement of spring!) and there is a restless, mental quality here, rather than the sensual, physicality of her ruling sign, Taurus (so what’s wrong with having a mind?). Anyway, you see what I mean…so if you notice that you want to change all of your furniture, re-organize your closet (and NO, I am NOT projecting) and hurry to plant your garden, and you don’t want to WAIT for Him to call, and you tap your foot as you stand in line at the grocery store, but feel inclined to flirt with the cute guy on line (reverse gender, guys) then you are under the spell of our Goddess of Love in her Garment of Spring, sign Aries! Tons of fun and always playful, this residence for our Goddess of Love will bring you energy wherever Aries is located in your personal chart!
Okay, I’m off to play with my luggage…and, mes amies, I may not be as consistent as I have been with daily Dujours, but do check in, I will write when I can ‘ground’ enough to bring my wandering mind to a thought we can all share.
ps....go to Special Features and then to Good To Know...wowie zowie!

Oh Joy, it’s May Day!
Or, as it is otherwise know, “Heaven on Earth’.
I believe that I have mentioned the custom of Beltane in previous Dujours, n’est pas? Beltane is the juiciest holiday that we humans have ever come up with. It is not just a celebration of our humanness—it’s a complete reveling in it!
Beltane is all about our wonderful sensual relationship with nature. There are times when our ‘decision’ to stuff our eternal selves into these temporary ‘bio-pods’ was worth the trouble and May Day is one of them. It is only because of our bodies that we can experience the ‘highs’ that this day has to offer.
So here’s a Beltane ritual: Stand outside and close your eyes. First, feel the sun and the warm, yet crisp breeze on your skin. Then inhale into your lungs (along with the delicious spring oxygen) the perfume of hundreds of plants and flowers! Finally, with eyes still closed, listen to the sounds of humming insects and calls of geese and songbirds. Fairly awesome, don’t you think? And that’s all from just standing there!
Anyway, it isn’t as remarkable when you read about it, but when you DO it, it is transcendent—and that’s the point! It’s one thing to understand the customs and the ideas (and by the way, this website will tell all and it is fun—turn on your volume) http://www.mythinglinks.org/Beltane.html but the truth is, this day is not about our minds, in fact, it is the anti-mind day!
So, with my mind on hold, I’m off to hike on the Overlook! Oh My Goddess—“what wonders nature has wrought!” Have a magnificent, beautiful May Day/Beltane....life is good.

My brain is breaking into vacation mode all ready. Instead of thoughts and musings pouring forth, all I get is miles of long, uninterrupted space, with the occasional sound of a wave rolling by. (Any waves in Paris?)
Anyway, it’s a Friday, my dear friends, and a New Moon. The flowers are out and the sun is shinning some where behind that Tulle Fog (I can FEEL it). That is all my 18 days till Paris mind can come up with on this fine day. Hopefully, there will be a thought or two to share with you all before I go….till then, I’m letting my mind be. (I seem to have no choice!)
Have a beautiful, luscious Friday…I am drifting off to the sounds of the waves of Paris....adieu!

Moon in Taurus sextile Mars in Cancer @ 1:47 p.m.
Moon in Taurus sextile Uranus in Pisces @ 11:21 p.m.
The loveliest of the lovely, today is our annual New Moon in Taurus.
In addition to the amazing sensual beauty of this new moon, each year it fills us so full of energy, it makes us feel as if it would be a snap to do anything—like be able to fulfill our hearts desires! Remember the catch? We must know our hearts desires!! When we have those desires clear in our minds and bodies, this is the day to focus intention, since new moon’s give us that extra, ‘punch’ needed to manifest them.
Are you are ready for the new moon ritual today? Do you know what you would like to (ultimately) see happen in your life? We write on our papers what we wish/intend/desire to create. I simply can not TELL you how many times I wished for Paris, which is now just 19 days away! Keep writing, Grasshoppers, some times it takes a while, but intention gives us focus, and focus brings results.
Aside from the luscious message of the new moon, I just need to pass this along. You all know I have a guilty pleasure, eh? It’s my addiction to watching the entertainment called, ‘The News’. My friend David reminds me that it is not real and it just makes me sick (true) so why do I do it? I have the same reaction to too much chocolate. I know it isn’t good for me, but I am eerily drawn to it. (Ah, well, David…..)
Now, part of me does this for the adrenal-whipping-frenzy that it creates (the news and a cup of coffee, that’s all it takes to get-a-goin!) but really, it is a way to see what many of those it the ‘outer’ world are doing/thinking, it keeps me connected. There is, however, one good thing about a rant—it is that people respond and send me stuff. I got the best thing I have gotten yet, from my friend Kate (thanks, Kate—I just LOVE this one!). It is from one of the World’s best friends, a man of exceptional integrity-- Ben, of Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream. Lookie here, this is good to know….
http://www.truemajority.org/oreos/
Anyway, I’m off to help Wally find our airplane tickets. It appears they have vanished. Did I imagine the whole thing? Reality/Illusion….reality/illusion….hard to know the difference some time…..wishing you a luscious new moon!

You guys watching the Big Game lately? You know, the Save the World game? You have the Save Team, in Eternal Conflict with its companion, the Exploit the World Team. They seem to always be the ones to reach these Olympics.
Today, the Exploit Team (who has a distinct edge these days, since their team has conquered Control Central) has made a bold move. In response to the Save Team’s recent rise in The Polls (the referee station) concerning the recent round of the Gas War Game, Exploit found a way to ‘win-the-spin’ in The Polls by ‘lowering gas costs’ by removing all ecological regulations with production! HA! Bet ya, didn’t see THAT ONE coming! Keeping their ‘chips’ high, Philips/Conoco (Exploit Team Members, Extraordinaire) reported a $3.29 BILLION DOLLAR profit for LAST QUARTER alone, the highest ever!!! This is really going to be of assistance to their Home Team at Exploit. Exploit Team also has moved a new ‘man’ into place, direct from the Home Team, Fox News Commentator Tony Snow has become the Front Spin Decoy, and you know he has been in the ‘Spin Olympics’ for quite some time now. Wow. Exploit Team is movin ahead!
Anyway, more on the games later….the Sun is out and shining and even a big fan of The Games needs to take a break and turn off the channel! Enjoy today’s entertainment!

When I cast the chart for this morning, I was scouring the galaxy in search of something to blame for my lethargy. The absence of Dujour yesterday was a prime example of said lethargy, so sorry! Since I did not see anything out of the ordinary in our Universe, I took a few minutes off from my vigil to open my email. Of course, as these things go, twas Kismet (and a forward from my darling friend, McKenzie—kiss, kiss!) that gave me what I could not find in the chart.
What I received was a message written by one of my very, very favoritist Guru’s—Baba Ram Das! As always, his perspective took me out of my malaise and reminded me of the wonderful, beautiful BIG picture. He does this better (for me) than anyone. I realized that I had started to identify all of the chaos around me as real, and you know that that is the first step down the slippery sloap of hell.
The ‘I’m mad as hell’ syndrome had come back again like a returning seasonal allergy, and I was ‘sneezing’ anger, all over the place! There is no known antidote; you just have to ‘sleep it off’. So I did. I woke up today determined to go cold turkey and to ‘find the reason’ for my misery (planetary heads must roll!) Five minutes with Ram Das and I realized how silly I was. By the way, be inspired—go to Good to Know and read it, too!
Upset with the ‘world around me’, I did retain the perspective, however, that G.W. Bush was the person who has brought me more completely into the NOW than anyone else. How come? Well, Bush reminds me every time I look at him, that there really IS NO FUTURE!!!! I have been making lots of choices lately that are not based on the future, just on the Now.
Paris, for example!!!
Can I thank GW for Paris? That might be going too far. Still, if you were NOT invested in The Future, and you were not who you are trying to be, or if you had nothing to loose, and there really was no tomorrow, what would you do today?
With the beautiful Moon in her soft, yin, balsamic stage, in the playful and open sign of Aries, (this lunar condition is a combination of completion and beginning!) it’s a great day to ask just that of yourself!
The way things are (and to be truthful, it’s the way they have always been) ya just never know. The fourth addiction (From Angeles Arrien’s Four Fold Way) is the addiction to the need to know. That’s my favorite—well, I AM a fortune teller! I've been working on 'giving it up' for years. It just might be my life's work.
Letting go of the addiction to the illusion of ‘knowing’, is even harder than letting go of the addiction to chocolate—but way, way more rewarding. With no future—you get a complete today! With no chocolate, well, we don’t even want to think about it! Have a great NOW.

“Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday Mother Earrrth, happy birthday to you!” We love our mother, don’t we?
It’s her day! She is a true beauty in every sense of the word. She is forever giving, and she is graciously forgiving. Not only does she give us what we need to survive and thrive, but she also supplies us with a great deal of beauty and (eek) excitement! Hey—where would we be without her? It might be prudent for we children of Mother Earth to adopt an attitude of Mindfulness—we hope we will never have to find out what we’d do without her! So, what are your plans for Earth Day?
Of course, you may be a bit dreamy today. Today is our monthly Moon/Neptune conjunction, and although it has all ready occurred (4:16 a.m.) we will continue to be influenced by this alignment. In Aquarius all day Luna, traveling along side of Neptune, creates the perfect mental climate for visions and fantasies. In honor of our mother, what if we all vision together? What about this vision: All inhabitants of Earth Base wake up on the same day with a great awareness of our beautiful planet! This awareness will naturally give way to a willingness to release toxic habits and simultaneously all nations decide to put their minds, hearts and resources into a new blueprint for the future! This new way would be consistently respectful, healthy and creative, and work in service and symbiosis with all of earth’s creatures and to Mother Earth herself!
Where there is a will, there is a way….we start with a dream, and when we all dream together, it has unstoppable power! Save the Earth--Vision with a friend!

How lovely—water and earth trines and sextiles all day long. It’s a perfect day for a mellow Sunday. Or not. Water can be quite overwhelming of emotion, as we all know. Water can be rain (just for a change) and water can be healing balm. Sundays are always perfect for ‘returning to ourselves’. Let the life giving waters of heaven and earth heal you today. My mind is so undisciplined today. Like my cats who can play endlessly with a ball of dust-lint (which our household regularly supplies them with) the slightest distraction has me online looking for amusements. For example, today on my astrological calendar, I see that we will be having the Lyrids meteor showers. I know about the ones that come in Leo (the Delta Aquarids, this year coming at the end of July on the same day that Mercury changes direction!) but this is one I don’t know about. Much ado is made of these phenomena, and I think they are important, but I really don’t know what they mean. You know the drill though: Do your homework, Grasshoppers, and observe, observe, observe. (Just for fun) http://www.serve.com/wh6ef/comets/meteors/showers/lyrids.html
Since The Supreme Dark Commander will be here in historic Grapeadoon this weekend, I spent a good amount of time this morning writing and deleting. Good, got that out of the way! Ick. Enough of those sour grapes. It’s FRIDAY. You all get a pass. I will tell you all, however, our in-house professional Peace and Justice Worker, Audrey von Hawley, will be in attendance. You know, this stuff takes a lot of energy! Protesting is hard work. Thanks, Aud, you do it for the rest of us!
Hey--if any of you Grasshoppers go and have stories, what about you share them with us? Would LOVE it!
So, back to FRIDAY. Spring, Friday, Rain…....Rain???? WHAT???? Fraid so. Between the barometric drop, it being Friday, a ball of lint crossing my path that needs to be observed, and the up and coming conjunction of Luna with Neptune (the spacey planet-- and not to mention the Moon/Saturn tug-of-war opposition---with Saturn, the disciplinarian being the looser this time) that’s all for this girl, this Friday. Oh, but I will give you a toy. Darling Maryann sends this…. (It was perfect for my distracted mind—and it has nothing to do with GBush) have fun!

I think it’s Venus trine Jupiter—that’s what’s up at this moment as I do my morning ‘keyboard duty’. It’s just that I feel so dreamy, all I want to do is play with my luggage. (For any who did not read my ‘Message from PJ’ that I finally wrote! it mentions that we are traveling soon—less than a month—and parts of me have all ready left!)
Still much is happening here in the mystical land of Grapeadoon. For example, people are lining up to protest the visit of The Lord of Darkness as he slithers into the lovely Napa Valley (check for trails of brimstone in his wake.) www.unwelcomebush.com Yet all I can think of is, ‘If I put this hairdryer in this cubby of the luggage, I can still fit two pairs of jeans here’….ah, well—priorities!
Anyway, I have spent all morning with one of my Bush ramblings. I read it to Wally and he said, “Uh, uh, you can't print that ”. I liked it though—it’s all about Bush's Bombs and then moves to exploref dicey images of justice and retribution. Still, Wally reminded me that you just can’t say that stuff. Waaa. Well, I have it saved if anyone wants to hear it—send me your email and I’ll toss it over. That will probably be the best way to avoid those Secret Internet Police.
Anyway, rambling takes time and I’ve used mine up. There’s still a Venus/Jupiter trine to enjoy and I finally see the sunshine (took a while, scared me--not ready to go back to the rain!)
So ..... I’m off to pack….Paris countdown...26 days!

Sun enters Taurus @ 10:26 p.m.
One month ago a fiery Moon in Sagittarius joined her partner El Sol as he entered fire in the first of spring, the Sign of Aries. Today, a similar phenomenon occurs—Luna & Sol, together again, only this time their tryst will take place in the deeper, sensual signs of earth. She will be in the sophisticated earth sign of Capricorn, and he will join her in the yummy, passionate, youthful earth sign…..of Taurus!
I’ve spent a lot of time this morning writing and deleting bad poetry. Taurus brings out the soliquies in me, but when I re-read, I get embarrassed. Still, this IS a time when we all experience some of the earth’s finest moments, beauty is everywhere, as well as imparting to all of us that FEELING.
Now, Taurus’s themselves, a darling lot, have had a heckeva year. Since the summer of ’05, when Saturn moved into Leo on July 16, (a sign that squares Taurus) the games have begun! Later that same month, on July 28, you all remember that Mars went into Taurus and just shook everything up BIG TIME. This went on (and on) until February 18, when our Beautiful Bulls collapsed into a heap, rather exhausted from the ride. Not so hasty little Ferdinand’s, there’s still Jupiter…….! Twas on the 25th day of October in ’05 that Jup made his once-a-twelve-year stop in the sign that is opposite Taurus, Scorpio! This, too made for some tugs…but then, there was always (still) Neptune, who’s been traveling in Aquarius for quite some time now. In fact, he’s just about mid-way through his fourteen year journey through the fourth fixed sign, making a grand square to Taurus…is there no rest?
What’s it all mean, Alphie?
Well, it means that the usually calm, knowing, can-handle it Taurus-folk are feeling a ‘disturbance in the Force’. Time for change. Most likely, changes have been happening all along since Saturn started the games in July. The inevitable question asked, of course: HOW LONG TO GO??? The usual non-committal answer, of course: When you figure out where you are going and what you want to do NEXT!!
Yes, of course, this is all about CHANGE. Not a Taurus’s favorite word, mind you. Still, this is FemoEarth, and change happens.
What is good for Taurus? So, so much….Jupiter in their solar 7th house—marvelous improvements in relationships, or relationship patterns….Saturn in 4th house—getting stabilized with home and a new, more solid foundation…..Mars in 3rd house (until July) great time for zipping around, little frequent travels! Also it’s a great time to learn something NEW….Uranus sextile Taurus, from 11th house to the 1st house….visioning the new you, and the flexibility and means to make that new you happen!
Anyway, s’all good. Taurus is all good. The earth is a good planet. We must love it while we have it…(or while it has us).
Look around and feel the day. Taurus is a present to Earthlings from Great Spirit!
Happy Birthday to Taurus’s, and happy Earthday to all of us!

Wow! Planetarily speaking, there’s a whole lotta shakin goin on today! Well, it IS our 100th Earthquake Anniversary, isn’t it?
Speaking of earthquakes, I am not prepared at all. I can barely keep up with the NOW, much less plan for a possible THEN. I really do feel remiss, but I am truly the White Rabbit….late, late, late. I tend to think that ‘what happens is what’s supposed to happen’, and there’s no stopping Fate. I DO have extra water on hand, though, and batteries. I just like having them. Being of Italian decent with a Cancer Moon, there’s always a lot of food around, too. So I guess I’m more prepared than I think! Anyway, I’m sure we’ll be hearing a lot about the topic today.
And on this day, Luna is at the end of Sag and she will enter Capricorn in the early afternoon. There being many planets at the end degrees of their signs, she bounces into each of them on her way out the door. It’s just a game of connection, and do not forget that everything is connected. That is always a comfort to me.
Today the Sun will shine for the last time in Aries land. Tomorrow we will hit the Taurus trail, and shift our fiery Arian energy into a slower, more grounded Taurus type. It’s a beautiful time of the year….April showers (40 days and 40 nights of them) will hopefully, gratefully, bring our well-deserved May flowers!
Okay, a couple of things.
I got sidetracked! (That’s new---ha, ha) and instead of today’s Dujour, I (FINALLY) wrote you guys your letter!! Check out Message from PJ—there will be something IN there, yippee! By the way, speaking about letters, Pam has a new one on line, too! I always love her messages, thanks, Pam…
But ALSO, you’ll just never believe what Pam just forwarded over to me—GEORGE W. BUSH is coming to NAPA!!!! Talk about Holy Earthquake!
FYI from Sonoma Peace & Justice--any takers? Maybe the rest of us could just infuse the resort w/ our version of prayers/light/cosmic accountability...Pam
Dave Henderson writes:
PRESIDENT BUSH IN OUR OWN BACK YARD THIS FRIDAY!
Peace & Justice friends, President Bush will be overnighting at Napa
Valley's Meadowood Resort (at St. Helena) this coming Friday night,
according to newspapers, thus giving us a great opportunity to welcome our president in our own special way.
Since "they" (I don't know who they really are) will be taking over the
entire resort: that's a lot of people. Most of them will presumably be
driving north on the Silverado Trail (NOT highway 29, I presume) from points south, Napa airport, etc. (although the pres will undoubtedly be dropped in...), and the Trail is ideal for standing with signs--nice wide shoulders, long straight stretches, etc. So most of "them" will have to see us. But, sure, it's mostly symbolic, whether they all see us or not...
I'm planning to be there with a sign, and an American flag, from 2:00 to
4:00 pm (giving us time to get back for the Friday vigil in Sonoma at 5:00); I think a spot across the Trail from the Oakville Cross Road offers good visibility. (I can take one other "welcomer" in my car, if anybody wants to come.)
If others join us, I suggest: 1) an appropriate sign, 2) an American flag,
3) a small camera or tape recorder (just in case we have to document any "hassling" by the anti-free speech local or Federal forces...)
Any other suggestions or good ideas?

PS. You might avoid actually parking on the side of the Trail, since "they" could probably ticket/tow you for some infraction.
find out more at: www.unwelcomebush.com
Anyway, I will not be attending…I mean, on the off chance I would see him, I can’t even look at him when he’s on the TV without getting totally creeped out!
Still, if you are in the mood to state your thoughts, you might want to show up, whatever those thoughts are…it’s still America (better hurry, Bush is trying to change it back to King George’s house!) express while you can….
Anyway, it’s late, it’s late….puff, puff…I’m off down the Rabbit Hole, hope your Tuesday is fun in the (finally!) Sun!

After watching the Sunday news programs yesterday, and looking at the headlines on Google today, I was wondering just what was influencing the chart of Donald Rumsfeld. I found him on Lois Rodden’s chart directory. Do you all know that there is an astrology website where you can look up any famous person? Just type http://www.astrodatabank.com/Nms_r.htm and you have all of everyone who’s anyone’s birthdays!
When I went to type in July 9, 1932, I found that I already had his accurate natal chart (he has Sag rising!) on my own personal Databank (my Kepler astrology software)
So what did I find? HOLY UNHOLY ALLIANCE! His chart was so much like that of his boss, ‘our’ prez, that I was stunned!
Rummy was born on July 9, 1932. He is a Cancer with a Libra Moon. Bush, born July 6, 1946 is a Cancer with a Libra Moon. Rum has his Mercury in Leo; Bush has his Mercury in Leo (A Leo Mercury is all about ‘Empirical thinking’…. and I did not make that up) They have a number of Saturn/Pluto aspects together (destruction) but the aspect that freaked me out the most was their Mars/Uranus conjunction.
A few years ago, two friends of mine and myself created an astrological relationship program for an Internet dating service. We gathered hundreds of charts, and examined the relationships of the famous, and of the not famous people that we knew. There were the good ones, relationships where there was respect, ongoing love, cooperation and fun that lasted a lifetime. There were the ones where the connection was brief and fizzled out. Then there were the abusive ones—in fact, these were the ones where there was repeated violence, and in three cases, murder!
Guess what we found? In EVERY CASE of murder, the couple had a Mars/Uranus conjunction!! It showed up in verbal abuse, aggressive divorce, the stuff that fills the tabloids. It’s a high chemistry, very sexual, quite exciting and frequently violent aspect. Anyway, our prez and his secretary of WAR have this aspect between their two charts folks, and it seems that we are the ‘children’ of abusive parents.
There is a need with this aspect, to exert ‘power’. There is a willingness to do anything at all to accomplish this. Nuke some one? No problemo, the narcissistic, megalomaniacal pattern that is in the brain of one of these men, is also in the brain in the other. They really, really DEPEND on each other, and just like a mirror , they ‘co’ each other, and they support each other’s extreme beliefs.
The question is, do WE support torture, the use of nuclear force, abandoning of the needs of the military enlisted, and aggressively bullying anyone who disagrees with our ‘right’ to do/take whatever we want to? Of course George Bush does not (and I believe WILL not) let Rummy go. It would be like letting go of your ‘addiction’. I’m writing the White House. Couldn’t hurt, could it? Fire Rumsfeld! Get us out of ‘Vietnam! Er, Iraq!’
“Let My People Go”. Well…..it worked before!

Moon in Scorpio goes Void @ 11:29 a.m.

Moon in Scorpio square Neptune in Aquarius @ 11:29 a.m.
I felt that Moon/Jupiter conjunction this morning—in fact, my eyes flew open and I wondered if I had overslept! Nope. Still dark out, but there was too much energy in me to stay sleeping, so up I got. Cleaning and folding, just trying to settle down, I finally come to my keyboard to see what’s what, and indeed it IS a ‘what’—a Jupiter/Moon conjunction is energy producing. It’s so unfair that it happened so early and it is all ready over. Still, I feel the continued effects and it is good to have energy.
After around noon-ish, the rest of the day will be a Moon void, so things will be mellow. No need to push yourselves, it is Saturday, after all.
Easter Sunday
Daily Stars
Moon in Scorpio enters Sagittarius @ 7:19 a.m.
Mercury enters Aries @ 5:20 a.m.
Moon in Sagittarius trine Mercury in Aries @ 7:33 a.m.
Sun in Aries trine Pluto in Sagittarius @ 12:33 p.m.
Moon in Sagittarius trine Saturn in Leo @ 3:41 p.m.
Reborn, indeed! There is fire, fire everywhere! Out of the fire we come, re-formed and molten…ready for this day of the Phoenix, as Luna in Sag makes a grand trine with Saturn and today’s newest migrating planet, Mercury in Aries!
Remember our Merc is a very busy fellow. He moves so quickly around the zodiac, he must back-track 3 ½ times a year (Mercury retrograde) just to keep up with his cumbersome boss, El Sol. Still, he is never more than a sign away from the Sun (45 degrees) and today he joins Sol in the sign of Aries, where he will stay until Cinco de Mayo—May 5th!
Mercury is happy in Aries. Aries is fast-moving just like Merc himself, and we may all feel a bit manic under this influence (could be projecting again). We can all use a little brain perk, though, n’est pas?
Our grand trine today consists of The Sun & Mercury in Aries trine Saturn in Leo trine The Moon and Pluto in Sagittarius….isn’t it powerful? (Answer: Yes!)
What to do with it?
Luna kicks it off and stays in the fire until Tuesday, but the trine will stay rolling until May. This is a terrific time to initiate! Well, the topic today IS re-birth and beginnings!
In our solar chart (with Aries as rising sign) Mercury has just left the 12th house (of hidden things, I won’t even go into it—I’m giving you all an Easter ‘break’ from politics!) and it has just rolled into the first house of personal power. What do you need personal power for? If you know what you want, this is very helpful to get it! If you don’t know, the blessing of this aspect is clarity, since Mercury is the planet said to influence our ‘minds’. The first house is what’s visible, and in this case it is knowledge and information. Of course, as always, our personal experience with these planets is always relevant to our own charts, but things will clear up and speed up, so buckle up.
Today’s holiday began as a day of worship for the Goddess Eastre, the Goddess of Spring. (Saxon, Northern Europe)
Everything that is now a Hallmark product (eggs, pastel colors, bunnies, baby chicks) were of course, a part of the natural world, and they occur annually at this time, with or without human holiday. Our early human hearts would sing with gratitude and pleasure at these beautiful signs of life, less for their spiritual meaning, but these ‘omens’ often brought us out of starvation and solitude, into health, stregnth, and a new connectedness.
May this Great Connectedness be yours, and a most joyous re-birth to you all!

Good Friday
Moon in Scorpio square Saturn in Leo @ 6:46 a.m.
Moon in Scorpio trine Venus in Pisces @ 4:33 p.m.
Moon in Scorpio trine Uranus in Pisces @ 11:25 p.m.
It's Good Friday today. Of course, ALL Fridays are good, but today is the official one. It is the beginning of a weekend that is all about beginnings. Re-birth. That is, of course, the name of the game here on the Femo-Dough outpost, Earth.
You know how it is with Femo-dough. You shape it and re-shape it, until you get it the way you want it. Then you bake it, and then you give it to some one. Then they love it, put it up on a shelf for a while, then someone drops it. Then it is in pieces. Some times you glue it, some times you throw it. Eventually it goes to the dump, then it bio-degrades. Then it is land-fill, then it is used for fertilizer, then it becomes plants, then it is eaten by bunnies, then humans eat the bunnies, then those humans make the Femo-dough, and THAT’S a story of re-birth. A different story. Still, everything old is new again, and once again grows old. As we celebrate the story of Christ’s re-birth, I wonder if it is a metaphor for reincarnation? Then again, is reincarnation a metaphor for Earth’s Femo-dough production? It’s all just another mystery.
But here’s the good thing: As long as you can keep re-shaping the Femo-dough, you’re still in the game! Life is an art project—and the object is to make something beautiful!
Have a GOOD Friday.

Mars enters Cancer @ 5:59 p.m.
Moon in Scorpio trine Mars in Cancer @ 10:21 p.m.
It’s a Big one today, astrologically speaking, and the first phenomena is our annual Aries/Libra Full Moon! (9:40 a.m.) Balancing personal needs with service & selfless responsiblities! Just a couple of hours later, we have a Mercury square Pluto, (1:53 p.m.) I would try to be out of traffic for that one (if you’re in traffic, just stay alert and don’t let yourself get cranky, you could make poor decisions) and the BIG event of the day is that Mars, the God of War enters the sign of Cancer.
In Gemini since the 18th of February, (after a looooong hold-up in Taurus, since July 28 of 05) Mars is finally leaving the first ‘quadrant’ of the chart, Aries-Gemini, and entering the 2nd Quadrant, Cancer-Virgo. This is the section that deals with ‘home, children, work and health’ and all domestic needs and issues.
This aspect will help you get your house painted, but can be big stresses here in the ‘homeland’ (politically, with W being a Cancer, this will bring more information up for review—yippee!) Much as I would enjoy continuing to gloat, it’s also a bit hard on the stomach. I thought it was just me (eating ‘Curing Pills’ and papaya enzymes all night long!) but Audrey just called in sick with a stomach ache. I reminded her that she was suffering from a Mars in Cancer transit and she felt much better. We’re fairly suggestible here.
If it’s widespread, Curing Pills (little Chinese pills, very cheap and effective!) are a very big help. Never leave home without your papaya enzymes, either!
Still feeling the effects, I am taking it easy this morning, but wanted you to know all of this stuff going on. OH—AND THE SUN IS OUT (sort of). Hope you enjoy this bustling, turn-things-around day!

The bio-organism that is called, ‘humanity’ will strive to put itself ‘upright’ today, as Luna enters her checkpoint home of Libra, and creating balance and order is our theme.
All of her fussy and cranky squares—to the Titans of Aggression—Pluto and Mars—will be finished by 8:00 a.m. Early morning traffic hassles? No matter, they have all already passed.
In Libra, Luna will create patterns of trines, with a sprinkle of opposition—so our celestial ‘weather’ (apparently not physical weather rain, rain….) is one of accomplishment and clarity.
Humm….it’s April 11, four days from THE deadline (yeah, those taxes again!) but today’s grand trine in air—Luna in Libra, Mars in Gemini, and Neptune in Aquarius, will help you find those receipts that you’ve misplaced! Furthermore, the opposition from The Sun is there to help you scrutinize your tally sheets and give you greater accuracy!
I’m off to bring balance to my life, good luck with yours. Don’t you just love those planets? They’re always there to help!

Moon in Virgo
Moon in Virgo oppose Uranus in Pisces @ 12:10 a.m.
Moon in Virgo sextile Jupiter in Scorpio @ 8:13 a.m.
Moon in Virgo oppose Mercury in Pisces @ 9:56 p.m.
Well, I have been up early this morning, writing and writing; therapy, of course. Re-reading it, I realize you guys probably don’t want to start your week with stories of torture and politics, so I decide to try to do the link thing….we’ll see if it works! (See Monday morning tirade). You can skip the whole essay if you just want to know the aspects of the day. Who loves ya? I do!
Speaking strictly astrologically, today’s aspects are ‘interesting’ for a Monday. Clarification: while our Luna, happily traveling through Virgo, is in a terrific location for a Monday (Monday’s are one of those days when you get a fresh start and enjoy creating the illusion of order—which just happens to be Virgo’s ‘hobby’!) Luna makes some critical aspects here in Virgo today. These aspects do not allow us to just go smoothly along with the Virgo agenda!
Today’s Virgo Moon is traveling in opposition to Mercury, which holds the key of influence on our MINDS. Making this opposition more interesting, we remember that Mercury is in Pisces these days, and that is a very un-Virgo-y place. In fact Pisces, being exactly opposite Virgo, can take us very far away from said order! Instead of orderly and clear, we might feel spacey and disorganized. Oh, yeah, and then you add the fact that Mercury in Pisces is conjunct Uranus in Pisces (this means, of course, that they are merged together) and what you have is a Monday when you really intend to get it all together (Virgo Moon) and you even have a plan, but you get sidetracked (opposition to Mercury) and you get started on a completely unrelated tangent!( Mercury conjunct Uranus).
T’would be a good day to be an artist, (all of that imagination-creating energy) or at least, to work for yourself. In fact, this day bodes so well for imaginations, even though it's just a Monday, see if you can skim a bit of time for yourselves to do something creative—in a perfect world, this is what this day was made for!

Moon in Leo trine Pluto in Sagittarius @ 3:19 p.m.
Moon in Leo sextile Mars in Gemini @ 4:02 p.m.
Humm…today we will be having a Mars/Pluto opposition—this is a tricky one!
At the time of the Trade Center bombing, we had a Saturn/ Pluto opposition, and we know where that took us. Never forget these patterns ebb and flow and they are ‘poolings’ of energy and a Mars/Pluto opposition is one where we have less tolerance than usual. (I know I’m a bit er, ah, over-reactive lately!) This just means ‘be aware’ and drive/speak/engage with more care than usual, and then this aspect will give you the blessing side of it—balance of power! Every coin has two sides….

Moon in Virgo
Sun in Aries sextile Neptune in Aquarius @ 12:33 a.m.
Moon in Virgo opposes Venus in Pisces @ 5:25 a.m.
Looking at my calendar this morning, I see that it is Palm Sunday today. I know all about the origins of the spring/Easter ceremonies (Pagan-wise) but little about the origin of this day and its roots. There being ‘nothing new under the sun’, I get a lot from finding out where this stuff comes from, and having a resource like the Internet is a blessing, indeed.
So, that said, I hit the ‘Google’ button and wrote in—Palm Sunday, Pagan— (Google seems to know what I mean by this) and I get a string of stuff. There was nothing I could really sink my teeth into.
“Pagan Origins of Palm Sunday (?)
March was an important month in the Roman year. Originally, it was the first month of the year and was celebrated with almost constant events. March 22 was the ancient Roman Festival of the Entry of the Tree. On this day priests of one of the goddesses, Cybele or Ops or Rhea, carried pine or palm trees through the city”
Anyway, it really led no where with nothing to stimulate my imagination. I kept clicking around, and I found that there was mostly a lot of Christian stuff.
Now, you all remember that I have quite a Christian background, yes?
I was born and baptized a Roman Catholic (on the East Coast where it was BIG) and had my first communion at St. Diddicus. I moved to California, went to parochial school, left the church to become a Southern Baptist where I was re-baptized in a tub of water (full body-dunk) at a revival meeting in a tent. (I kid you not) I had just been ‘saved’ by the Reverend Billy Graham in the San Diego football stadium (you know, when he pushed my forehead and said, ‘Come to Jesus’—I was ten years old--(by the way, he was the guy who 'saved' W, ahem!!!) and then I spent a year in a Mormon school (made straight A’s) and then wound up a Methodist, which pushed me right into Atheism (and LSD—it was the 60’s by then) It was a decade later that I found Buddism...and of course, in 1970. I 'found' astrology!
Anyway, I tell you all of this because I want you to know that my interest in Pagan religion is rooted upon my deep and driving search for ‘God’ (well, actually The Goddess & Great Spirit). Christianity was my first love and so it is profoundly perplexing and distressing to me to see that the religion that I knew as loving and tolerant and heart-sharing has become the exact opposite—in so very many ways, by the ‘policies’ of intolerance that are practiced ‘in God’s name’!
So, anyway, I was on line this morning, clicking around trying to find out about Palm Sunday, when I found my self on this site. It was a Christian site, I froze up (automatic reaction from experiences I have had) so I was just about to close it down when I noticed that this person was writing a letter to G.W. I wondered what he had to say so I started to read, and it was a very healing experience for me.
You have all heard me freak out about George Bush for quite some time now, but you know it is only because I really care about people, the earth, happiness, love, respect, fairness, opportunity for all, you know, stuff like that. W. seems to be doing all he can to smash this stuff to pieces. Religions have allied themselves with him, so I felt that they were all false. This morning I was reminded that that is not true. I read this and I felt so much better.
Read this and feel better, too.

Have a sacred, loving, tolerant, reverential Palm Sunday.

Daily Stars
Moon in Leo
Moon in Leo square Jupiter in Scorpio @ 7:46 p.m.
Moon in Leo trine Sun in Aries @ 10:04 p.m.
Between readings yesterday I asked Audrey the usual question: “Whassup?” She had a great answer this time, she said, “Scooter Libby is singing like a canary!!”
I quickly dialed up the news on line, and there was the story that we knew was the story! Bush and Cheney had authorized an information leak, (to discredit Valerie Plame) in order to justify their war on Iraq. The leak ‘outed’ Plame from her position of anonymity, and jeopardized the well being not only of her but of all of her contacts. We know the story. We also remember that Bush told us (in a press conference) that he would fire any one found to have done such a thing. Uh, huh.
Okay. This is not actually my point.
Excited to hear what the national press had to say about the issue, I tuned into the Jim Lehrer report on PBS…in time to hear about the stories he would be reporting that night. Immigration, Moussaoui trial, and, of course, the ever popular BIRD FLU---BOO! But as for this really important story, there was nada, zip, zero….wassup with THAT????
But that’s not even my point (but it does blow my mind that the only thing a president can do to get a story on the nightly news is have sex. Murder, lies, deception, death, that’s not a story. Humm).
Anyway, my POINT is, Saturn just went direct at 4 degrees Leo on the 5th of April. Luna in Leo is sailing alongside Saturn, and as she is one of the ‘lights’ (the other light is the Sun, of course) she helped Saturn ‘light up’ the dark place that El Capitan hangs out in—the 12th house, the Land of Secrets.
No matter, secrets are being ‘revealed’ now that Saturn is beginning to move forward again. Soon Saturn will cross W’s rising sign at 7 degrees of Leo (for the second time) and he will remove his ‘cloak of invisibility’ once more, and not only that, but he must keep it off for the next two years—Saturn in the First house is high karmic visibility—it’s like walking around with a camera and a microphone on your lapel! That will be interesting for the very secretive Mr. Bush. By the way, the last time Saturn crossed W’s ascendant was the week of Katrina (and we remember how that was for him). It will cross one more time exactly on June 1st, and after that, no more invisibility. Now is the time to hope that astrology works.
Anyway I have been having such a good time lately, I have let politics ‘be’. I’m sure you are all okay with that—but nothing lasts forever! Saturn’s on the move, and TIME waits for no one. (Do not forget that Saturn is Kronos, Father Time!)
And since grabbing time while you can is the theme, don’t forget that it’s a Friday night again tonight, which is a great bit of Time to grab!
Luna will square Jupiter at around 8 p.m. and that sounds like over-indulgence to me! In the past I would have looked forward to that--overindulgence being one of my favorite past times. This getting older stuff, however, is not going so easily for my 'bio-pod' , so I will try to pay attention and not let the Moon/Jupiter square carry me away. (Aw, shucks)
Luckily, the trine from our Sun in Aries to Luna in Leo will smooth things out and carry our evening to a sweet, mellow conclusion. Nice celestial back ground for a fun night, which I wish for all of you Grasshoppers.
Be mindful and enjoy!

Well, due to the fact that I am off ‘paying the Fiddlers’ (Ouch.) and the fact that Luna is entering Leo and soon to conjunct Saturn, (Ouch.) Dujour will be pre-empted today with a healing morning ‘brain fog’ and a sit down breakfast. Back tomorrow—Saturn on the Moon today, darling Hoppers, so go easy.
(ps….thank you all again, for making this the Best Birthday, EVER! (Ouch.)

Moon in Cancer square Sun in Aries @ 5:01 a.m.
Saturn Stationary Direct in Leo @ 5:56 a.m.
Moon in Cancer trine Jupiter in Scorpio @ 8:27 a.m.
Moon in Cancer trine Mercury in Pisces @ 10:19 a.m.
Venus enters Pisces @ 6:21 p.m.
Well, you can see by those Daily Stars that there’s a whole lotta phenomena goin’ on today!
It’s a First Quarter Moon, Saturn goes direct, and Venus enters Pisces, but er, still no sunlight, here in Brigadoon—well, you can’t have everything (why not?).
Oh, yeah, speaking about having everything—I have spent all morning with your wonderful notes and opening up my E-Cards!!! I have had a blast! Thank you ALL so very much. Yes, I know I asked for them (Yesterday’s Dujour, when I shamelessly hint, hinted, ahem) but well, isn’t that how you get stuff? What fun to hear people tell you they love you (I never get tired of it). What a great invention e-cards are, as well! They have music, terrific creativity and entertainment, plus the sentiments of those you love. It’s a perfect way to start one’s Solar Return (that’s astrology talk for birthday!).
A few years back, I was looking on my astrology calendar and I noticed that my birthday was shared by someone who was born on the same day and year as I was, and her name was Judy Resnik. I had no idea who she was, so I looked her up and guess what? SHE WAS AN ASTRONAUT!!! What are the odds? I’m off pondering the meaning of the stars, she’s off sailing along side of them! (She wins) See, this stuff really DOES work! Anyway, Judy died in the Challenger crash in 1986, and so my astro-twin departed (actually, that was a very critical year for me, too). Happy birthday, Judy, wherever you are!
Today, as I mentioned Saturn has just ‘gone direct’. This means that it’s energies of discipline and focus are now more easily accessible to all. Those of you whom Saturn squares—Taurus and Scorpio—and whom it opposes—Aquarius—will be put to the test more directly as Saturn moves rapidly forward through the degrees of these fellow fixed signs. As for you Big Cats—Leos—Saturn is directly upon you as it conjuncts your sun sign. The intention of this aspect is to help you ‘get it together, and no excuses! This aspect is one that only happens every thirty years, so for you Sun-Ruled Pussycats, it’s a time of (potential) accomplishment, beyond your wildest dreams. All you have to do is work day and night. And Focus. And be unwavering. And sacrifice. That’s ALL! Of course if you do not ‘show up’ for your commitments, this aspect creates immediate reaction (Instant Karma) so that’s the story on that. What’s that mean? It means that you will not slide, or ‘be ignored’ by the Star People, you are being watched, so just be good, guys—and Saturn will reward you with exceptionally positive results! (No pressure, ha!)
But actually, the aspect I really want to talk about today is Venus. Early this evening, Venus will enter a softer, more compatible sign for her romantic nature to hang out in. Today she moves into Pisces. Here in the romantic and playful ‘spa-like’ waters of Pisces, Venus thrives. She is artistic, sensitive, playful, adventuring, and musical, albeit yes, a tad more melodramatic-emotionally, that’s true. Pisces ‘got flair’, so hey, what’s a little ‘wrist to forehead’ action, when there’s all of that passion and creativity, eh?
Anyway, Venus will hang out in this romantic, watery abode until May 3rd, so create, love, and emote with flair until then!
First quarter Moon’s are the angle of ambition. What would you like to bring into form at this time? So many beginning-supportive aspects are happening today, it’s a great day to re-boot and approach old patterns in a new way.
As for me, I have the day off to do whatever I want, it’s what I gave myself. There’s nothing like the ‘gift of time’ for oneself! (I must be getting old)
Right now, I am sitting in a patch of (rare, very rare) SUNLIGHT….I am going to wrap this up and go outside and STAND in it and BREATHE it in!!! Hey, that’s something I would like to see begin—the part of spring that includes the return of the sun!
And once again—I love you ALL, thanks for being in my life!

Moon in Cancer
Mercury in Pisces trine Jupiter in Scorpio @ 8:25 a.m.
Moon in Cancer trine Uranus in Pisces @ 11:20 p.m.
Trines from Mercury & Luna to Jupiter & Uranus, it’s a grand trine in water day! Everywhere I LOOK, it’s water…but remember, Grasshoppers…water is the missing element of spring, and we are ‘blessed’ to have it here. Personally, I could do with a day or two without a blessing, just to get a bit of serotonin back in my brain so I will be able to lessen this starch craving—my brain says, “Give me serotonin…..any way you can GET it!” A dash of sun would be lovely—that many less French fries would I crave!
Someone has most likely all ready sent you all this one, but check it out:
Tomorrow in the wee hours of the night, there is one of those cool number phenomena’s. At 1:02:03a.m., it will be 1:02:03 04/05/06!!! (And it never happened before, and it will never happen again!) Cool, huh?
Hey, all that, and Saturn goes direct—(at 5:56 a.m.) and er, oh, yeah—and it’s my birthday!!
Shameless, eh?
Sorry. I just had to mention it—I just really LOVE my birthday. In fact, birthday’s have been “berry, berry good to me”. Even before I was an astrologer, I was just ‘awed’ by the fact that it was my birthday, it always seemed so significant. (Er, well, yeah.)
Shirley MacLaine, in one of her books, told of a mystical birthday ritual. The two hours before your time of birth, were your annual power hours! Your year’s power will increase, (she said) if you sit and meditate and focus on your life, vision, and intentions at this special time, and set your course for the year. Remember, these two hours just before you were born were the ones when you were midway between the womb and the sky—actually, it was when you were traveling through the 12th house of the Zodiac. At this time you were ‘between the worlds’ and you contained the power of both worlds—the known and the unknown! I did it a couple of times, but I was born at 4:17 a.m. and it made me woozy the whole day and I don’t like to miss a minute of my birthday. I’m old now. I intend to sleep in. (Dujour might be sketchy and late tomorrow)
So hey, maybe I’ll write about Saturn’s part today. Give you all a ‘running start’ with this aspect.
At 5:56 a.m., after retrograding since November 22nd (@ 11 degrees Leo, 45 minutes) it will begin to move forward again. It has descended back to the 4th degree of Leo (4’23”) and will now begin to increase its Saturn power again as a forward-moving body in space, it is its most powerful!
If you have projects that have been ‘hung up’ or ‘shelved’ they will be back in play again. If you have been waiting for things to change you might just get your wish. Don’t forget that on the day when large planets turn around, there is that woozy effect (there goes another birthday) but it’s all worth it—a direct Saturn is an efficient one, and there is much work to do here on Terre Firma.
So do your best today here in Water World, (I imagine if you are reading this in a warm, dry place on earth, the information must seem a little strange. You will have to use your imagination to feel those water aspects) but remember they are not only weather-influential; they are emotion influential as well. It’s a good day to allow your feelings to be expressed, good day to cleanse, heal and release. Unfortunately, with all that water it is a good day to gain weight. Sigh. Hey—I think I’ll go plug in an exercise video, that’ll get me some serotonin!
Who say’s you can’t teach an old dog new tricks?

Moon in Gemini conjunct Mars in Gemini @ 12:18 p.m.
Moon in Gemini oppose Pluto in Sagittarius @ 5:09 p.m.
Moon in Gemini trine Venus in Aquarius @ 7:24 p.m.
Headlines today: “Tornados tear across American Midwest, killing 23”. It’s the weird weather, Gemini Moon thing again.
Endless, endless rain here on the west coast of the USA. In fact, happy as we were to get a Gemini Moon for the weekend (makes for terrific social action!) remember the influence that often (as of late) accompanies a Gemini Moon (it is where the USA’s Mars is) it is one of ‘holy heck’ every time Luna docks there, which we know happens once a month.
One likely reason for the intensity is the influence of the Pluto opposition that routinely occurs each time Luna hits Gemini, opposite Sagittarius where Pluto has been living since 1995 (and will remain until 2008). Ah, well it might be difficult to escape the ‘Curse of the Gemini Moon’ until then. (er, global warming and all) Anyway, as you see by the Daily Stars, Luna will not leave her Gemini spot until the very end of the day, and furthermore around (high) noon, she will be in Gemini conjunct Mars—so buckle up and hit the high ground!
Anyway, in a Monday sort of ramble, I noticed that tomorrow is Heath Ledger’s 27th birthday! Heath who? He was that cute guy in Brokeback Mountain, and he was in Casanova, and A Knights Tale, and Monster’s Ball, just to name a few of his other accomplishments, but the reason I am writing about him is, just as Reece Witherspoon was up (er, won) an Oscar, so, too was Heath in the running! They are both Aries—and Aries, remember, are having a trine from Saturn—which is the coolest aspect you can have! Now, Ram-kins, there are other aspects that might keep that nervous breakdown rolling for ya, but know that with this trine, (big picture) from July of ’05- September of 2007, it is a time of fortune and opportunity for you! You can make it happen—what is your dream?
Making dreams come true requires work, and Aries are just getting a bit of extra help from those ‘stars’, but hey everyone—the formula works no MATTER what sign or aspect you are born under. The planets just tell you how soon your desired result is likely to happen. If you never plant a rose bush, you will never get roses.
Anyway, I’m putting on ‘fins’ and swimming outta here—glub, blub, stay safe, happy Monday.

Happy April, Everyone!
Sort of let March end by itself, but I have a reason.
My relationship with this keyboard is the ultimate, “April Fools” one. I can almost hear it laughing at me (creepy).
Yesterday, at my cosmic wits end, I was just trying to put up your Daily Stars with a brief, whinny message about my inability to ‘carry on’ due to stuff happening in my Life. My keyboard said, “No, we will not let you embarrass yourself with this dribble” (I mean, I was really whining….) so when I tried to put it up on the site, the whole machine went cuckoo, and I was saved from myself. Don’t you just love that about things? They are truly alive.
Co incidentally yesterday,( you know how that goes) Pam sent an inspirational message from her friend’s Andromeda Guides, with much of this theme as its core thought—that the Earth is an alive entity of it’s own, and this extreme weather is its means for trying to clean itself….read it, you will feel relieved! www.cardinalstarsystems.com/special/spirit.html
As for today’s stars, Luna is off to ‘hang’ in Gemini this afternoon, and this will perk our rain-drenched psyche’s up nicely (except, remember, Gemini Moon’s frequently create some extreme happenstance here in the USA,-- like 9-11, Katrina, Wilma, Rita, etc…. as Luna will always conjunct the USA’s Mars, ahem) but maybe this will just be an average Gemini Moon, with no big storm or high drama, just a playful, musical, social day like it USED to be, before the Bush Administration!
And parties are the word of the day….we have bitter sweet one to attend tonight (going away parties are sad) and a visiting friend one (always joyful, Hi Peggy!) but my youngest son, Skylur’s party trumps them all; a very big limousine will drive up and pick up a passel of kids and whisk them off to The Prom. Geez….he was just a baby yesterday, ah, well….
So party well and joyfully, but if you have somewhere to be in the morning, look out…one more April Fool’s Event, TIME SPRINGS FORWARD…yup, that strange custom of disorientation strikes again, and we must set our clocks forward (who are WE to mess with TIME?) and we try to make it through the next couple of days without terrible ‘jet lag’. GOOD LUCK!

Moon in Gemini square Mercury in Pisces @ 10:02 p.m.
An airy, mutable Sunday, it really does feel like jet lag today. Well, that gives us permission to hang out, catch up and re-boot from all of the happenings of our lives thus far this wet and Mercury/Uranus conjunct spring. Can you do this?
It might be a bit difficult, though. Luna in Gemini will approach a conjunction to Mars, while Mercury and Uranus continue to play tag with each other. Translation? Expect the unexpected...what can THAT be? Guess we'll see...
Speaking personally, I am going to pretend that there are absolutely NO exciting aspects afoot. I do not remember having promised this day away, so I plan to ‘be one’ with my beloved washing machine, and proceed with my tried and true ritual of how I reorder my life; clean laundry! It always seems to release a multitude of ‘sins’….once those towels are stacked up again, all’s right with the world.
Wishing you a luxurious weekend, full of order, sleep and a return to clarity. Perhaps I am projecting again?

Yo, everybody back from the eclipse/galactic core? At the time of these occurrences, I was quite busy dreaming and dreaming, what seemed like; The Answers, but regrettably I brought back little from the dreams I had while at the galactic core. The mysteries shall remain mysterious.
Actually, it’s probably just this endless water pouring from the sky, but it seems like the eclipse/Pluto retrograde brought a rather sinister day. Still, it’s not a big day in the news (unless you count a new Prime Minister in Israel, which could be a big one as time goes on).
Actually, that’s a key point about these aspects. We rarely see effects at the time of the Event. Often what is seen is a situation that is just a ‘seed’ of something yet to grow. A person’s Karma is in the DNA, what will be will be before they are even here. In that theme, look at the seeds of this day, this new moon, this cosmic eclipse beginning, the future to be created out of the elements that are present as mere seeds. Don’t forget, it’s different for everyone…it’s always personal….
Pluto, having stationed (ie..stood still, like ‘docking’ in a train station) will now begin to journey ‘backward’. (We all know that retrogrades are not actually planets moving backward, right? Just another illusion!) Still it sure FEELS like backwards, and Pluto, an inward planet, is now beginning to move even MORE inward, as it strives to bring us to the deepest parts of ourselves.
What will we find when we GET to the innermost depths? Ah, that’s the question we ALL fear the answer to…but the core is the place where we are our most connected to The Infinite One.
From the Bhadavad Gita: “Fear not—what is not real never was and never will be. What IS real always was, and can not be destroyed”. Very important to remember. May your journey to The Center bring you what you wish for--or (as always) what you need!
Meet you at the Center. We’ll party.

Tomorrow is so profound, astronomically speaking, that every one of us will be feeling some effect from it, no doubt. At 2:15 a.m. here on the west coast of the USA, the Sun & Moon will make their strange, un-earthly alignment and we will have our Solar Eclipse. At 4:38 a.m., that same night, Pluto, the God of the Underworld, stations at the Galactic Core and turns retrograde.
Holy Cosmic Phenomenon!
I know, as an astrologer, I’m supposed to say what this all ‘means’. Meaning (you remember) is always personal, and besides—the game is observation.
So, as I observe myself today, I observe my drifting mind is unable to go forward and I think I will say that it is stuck at the Galactic Core. Luckily, my friend Renee Bornstein has sent a great link that takes us on an adventure with the eclipse—check it out and enjoy!
http://solar-eclipse-2006.info/Where_to_see_the_eclipse/Where_can_you_see_the_eclipse.html
When we ‘meet’ again, we will be on the other side of Pluto and the Eclipse will have passed.
Hey—what if these phenomena take us into a parallel universe? A universe where George W. Bush is the owner of a small gasoline station in Texas? A universe where all of the counties of the world regularly get together, not collaborating on weapons manufacturing, and money laundering, but with conferences on food production and maintenance of the environment, which, since it had always been revered in this parallel universe, was in tact and doing just fine. In this parallel reality the Polar Bears were not going extinct, there was NOT mass slaughter in Darfur, Iran and Iraq were fun places to visit for all romantics who had read the Arabian Nights and loved Rumi. It was a place where visitors would come to pray in Mecca, which they did out of respect, and they were not harmed or criticized for it, since religious tolerance was the norm all over the world, rather than a reason for death and separation.
What if Cheney and Rumsfeld (as well as ALL who called themselves NEO-CONS), owned a little sling shot range, since that was the closest thing to weapons people would go for in this reality. In this world, everyone defined themselves by their similarities to each other, and enjoyed their differences. They knew they were, ‘one tribe’ of humanity, ‘one planet’ humans and nature, and they remembered that they were all made of the same stuff.
Some where, over the rainbow….just past the Galactic Core….turn retro from Pluto…..did I mention this was a great aspect for imagination and visioning?

I really wish Dujour were VISUAL. I have fantasies of a little site ‘set up’ where the charts were on screen and like a weather person, I could point up on the screen and show you what these patterns LOOK like. The aspects today would especially impress you!
If we had today’s chart up on a visual surface, and we included Chiron, and the North Node, you would see a line-up of eight planets (well, seven + that node) all in a row, and you would go, ‘whoa, what’s THIS mean? This phenomenon, actually, is called a stellium. Stelliums are indeed intense energies, as they sort of ‘weld’ the planets and their meanings into a solid unit. They give the ability to focus very intensely to some, (depending on the natal chart) and a struggle to focus or function at all to others—(if these aspect fall in a place that does NOT aspect well in your chart). My husband would look at this chart and say, ‘Well, it is a lop-sided day’, and today I just might agree with him.
A chunk of that alignment belongs to Mercury, Uranus and the Moon all aligning exactly in the mystical sign of Pisces. Sensitivity and creativity are “off the charts” with this aspect and today it might be difficult to keep that mind on its leash! It’s 9:00 and do you know where your MIND is? Yeah, that’s it.
How can your mind and imagination help to get you what you want? This is the day to use all of that positive thinking stuff that you have learned in the past. Do you have a habit, fear or need that will be assisted by changing how you look at something? Today would be the day to dust off those old hypnosis tapes and get your conscious and subconscious brain re-aligned!
When we use our knowledge to work WITH the forces of nature, we strengthen our resolve with available power!
It’s spring, it’s a Monday, it’s a powerful visionary aspect; what are your dreams—(not your nightmares, vision them ‘pop’ like a bubble bursting!) now is the time to believe that the dreams of your heart’s desire can be achieved. Do you want to see magic? Well then, just look around—revel in the creation of your past achievements, nothing boosts the power of vision like gratitude!

Holy Alternative Consciousness, did you check out those Daily Stars? It’s Space City, folks, and boy do I feel it! Every little noise has carried my mind away, off on one of those clouds swirling around just outside my window.
In addition to the day being heavily populated by a flotilla of planets currently traveling in air signs, this, of course, is the long awaited day that our littlest planet, the cerebral Mercury, has changed directions and is now back on track! Here’s hoping that his movement forward will bring some long desired mental clarity (eventually).
Now, remember that we are still under the influence of this aspect until we catch up to the degree that Mercury started his retro journey. Since March 3rd, when Mercury went retrograde, this little rock has traveled all the way back from the 26th degree of Pisces to the 13th degree, and he will ‘catch up’ with where he started, (back to the 26th degree) on April 13th. Theoretically, this is when our minds and bodies will be back in full alignment.
So, today’s Luna in Aquarius will conjunct Venus in Aquarius, Neptune in Aquarius and trine Mars in Gemini, giving our day a light, imaginative theme, but heck, if you need to be grounded, you’re going to have to get a lasso to catch that mind, since these aspects incourage our minds to escape on the wind. As I write this, the wind outside is howling and swirling—I love it when nature acts out the aspects, it's a sort of cosmic consistancy!
Today being a Saturday, maybe you can let yourself enjoy these floaty aspects? Between the (possible) raindrops, this would be the ideal day to go outside and look up at the clouds! Where does your mind go? Follow it. Yeah, yeah, the first place minds usually go is horror story mode. If you let a mind sit, it is (almost) always going to go ‘to problem’. But nudge it just beyond and you will see as you watch those clouds, that your imagination has more wondrous places to take you than the small worry and fear, on a day like today, what about Vision?
Anyway, if you remember, tonight is the big Rock ‘Em, Sock ‘Em concert, and music is a wonderful way to do Air and Mercury Direct, not to mention a Mars/Venus trine!
After you finish communing with the clouds……of course....

The last aspects of the airy theme, then on to Water!
It is so late (I have been floating and writing for hours and hours……..wheeeeee…..) so you will have to splash down on your own.
Wishing you a lovely, creative, expansive weekend......

Daily Stars
Moon Void in Capricorn until it enters Aquarius @ 11:21 a.m.
Moon in Aquarius sextile Sun in Aries @ 6:32 p.m.
Moon in Aquarius oppose Saturn in Leo @ 6:51 p.m.
Sun trine Saturn @ 11:04 p.m.
Puff, puff, puff.….twenty-two hours till Mercury goes direct!
Hey, I don’t know what I expect. I guess I expect to get my mind back, but that is unlikely since Mercury is conjunct Uranus until it leaves Pisces, and that won’t be happening until April 17th. Still, having our smallest, closest planet moving in the same direction as the Sun is always a preference since it seems to bring a type of clarity just by virtue of bringing our minds along the same path as our energy!
As for today, another Friday (Should I stop mentioning that it’s Friday? I think it’s making us get older, faster!) our Luna, who art in Aquarius, will be having an interesting evening tonight.
If you check out those Daily Stars, you will notice that at 6:32 she will sextile her great love, El Sol, but mere minutes later at 6:51 she will dig in her heals in and oppose her nemesis Saturn—this makes for an interestingly scored Friday night, that’s for sure!
What to expect?
I suspect that it will likely bring exciting conversations, debate and controversy—politics, anyone?
Humm…well, tonight I’m going to an art opening for my good friend, Ray Jacobsen. (Join us at the Sonoma Arts Guild!)
Not only a spectacular artist, he is known here at Cardinal Star Systems Land by the skills of his womenfolk! His wife Barbara is our Tarot Specialist (among her many talents)—and his daughter is none other than the Goddess of Cyberspace herself, the exquisite Dianna!
So, my thoughts on a possible topic bandied around this evening, is one of great controversy here in the land of Grape Oz. The town is deeply divided, and it’s not across party lines, either. It’s about Measure C, which is a bond measure for millions (lots of millions, don’t remember the number, sorry) to build a new hospital. Fine, but they want to build it on farm land that is not for sale. Imminent Domain. Ugg. I hate it when ‘they’ take your land away. Besides, the word, ‘progress’ is not particularly earth friendly, it always means Cows: 0, Concrete: 100. By the way, there is another property not far that is FREE to the hospital, but I don't know enough about why the city will not consider it--anyone know why 8th St is being dismissed?
I’m not for Measure C, but then again I don’t go near hospitals. Barb and Ray are supporters; they have had great need of hospitals and believe those that say that there is only THIS hospital or NO hospital (that’s the threat). I hate it when I’m threatened, and I have had a strong reaction to this measure, but I think it is (still) all about George Bush. TERRORISTS!!! BIRD FLU, BOO! When people try to scare me into doing something that feels wrong, I react. But I could be wrong about this. I don’t know.
I always thought if I had a medical problem, I’d go to India, where I could perhaps afford some assistance--but that would be a long drive if I was in a car accident, so I will continue to listen to both sides and gather information. Moon sextile Sun oppose Saturn, as it were.
Our night ends sweetly, however. Sol in Aries trines Saturn in Leo, with fire to fire, and that creates an energy that inclines us humans to join forces and ‘get along’. Cool. Maybe we find a compromise—or a perfect solution to our evenings issues!
One more thing so you can plan ahead….join your YOUNG tomorrow night at Sonoma Veterans Hall for the Rock ‘Em Sock ‘Em’ Music Fest 2006!!!
Saturday March 25, 2006 @ 8:00 p.m. ` 12:30 p.m. (The day Mercury goes Direct)

Hope to see you all there, and by the time we talk again our Mercury (5:42 a.m. March 25) will be back on his fast-track forward, all the better to go dancing with!

Daily Stars
Moon in Capricorn goes Void @ 3:30 p.m.
Moon in Capricorn sextile Uranus in Pisces @ 4:36 a.m.
Moon in Capricorn sextile Mercury in Pisces @ 7:02 a.m.
Moon in Capricorn sextile Jupiter in Scorpio @ 3:30 p.m.
It’s a countdown….forty five hours till Mercury goes direct….and I can’t get Comcast up. I have no idea what’s going on in the news, who needs what and I must admit that in addition to my disorientation, I do feel a little ‘free’. I’m just me, without the ‘hook ups’.
Without hooking today’s aspects to the news of ‘the collective’, what we have is a symmetrically balanced day! Sextiles are helpers, positioned on the zodiacal circle to support and supplement each other.
Remember that the trines are all about planets in the same element, fire to fire, earth to earth, water to water and air to air. Sextiles are formed between planets of the same ‘gender’. In astrology, there are two gender energies, much like the plus or minus on batteries. Two pluses (masculine—fire and air) or two minus’s (feminine—water and earth) combine in harmony to support each other.
Today Luna, snuggly in her Earth Zone, will sextile three outer planets in the companionable element of water. It is a day when our planetary partners are in signs of receptivity and intuition. There’s an emphasis with the receptive planets to excessive emotional reactions, so it’s probably a good day to be quiet, if you can be.
Well, Wally’s up now, and within a blink my link to the outer world is re-connected, so it’s back to the salt mines…….so off I go, just….. very, very slowly.

Daily Stars
Moon in Sagittarius goes Void @ 1:47 a.m. Enters Capricorn @ 7:36 a.m.
Moon in Sagittarius conjunct Pluto in Sagittarius @ 1:47 a.m.
Moon in Capricorn square Sun in Aries @ 11:10 a.m.
In the middle of the night last night, Luna aligned with Pluto in the Galactic Core. Humm…, sounds like it should have been ominous, but I clicked on Google News and there was only the usual amount of murder, torture and mayhem, so no biggie. Luna scooted right outta there anyway, and now she’s on to Capricorn Land, bringing us all a little token earth to work with. We have plenty of planets in fire, water and air signs these days, but ever since Mars left Taurus we have been shy of earth, and boy, have I felt it—I have not been very grounded! I will enjoy the Moon in Capricorn, a little something to put our ‘feet’ on, and a couple of days for us all to ‘catch up’ with stuff.
Looking at my astrological calendar, I see that today is that cute little Reese Witherspoon’s 30th birthday. This makes Reese an Aries, and Aries are finally getting some hot aspects, and I do think that getting an Oscar for best actress is a hot occurrence! This is a Saturn trine the Sun (Saturn is in Leo, a fire sign—Aries is a fire sign, this makes a trine and they happen only twice in a thirty year period) so you go, Reese! Oh, yeah, all you other Aries, time to step up and claim your rewards (or awards)!
Aries have not had a Saturn trine for twenty years. Ten years ago when Saturn entered a fire sign, it WAS the sign of Aries, and that was a conjunction, not a trine. A conjunction means that a planet crosses over another one, and that is a sobering, harder aspect rather than a trine, when Saturn’s energies shine from a harmonious angle and this is generally experienced as victory or fun.
The last trine Aries had was twenty years ago when Saturn was in Sagittarius. Welcome back, Saturn trines! This means that the little rams will have the support of the biggest power player in the zodiac, and this will last until the fall of 2007—plenty of time to make the sort of changes that can improve your lives, and last a lifetime! (And who doesn’t want an Oscar on their mantle?)
Okay, I have one more story to tell, and it is a story of Saturn trine the Sun (yes, I AM an Aries—go team!) combined with Mercury Retrograde.
We are at the last days (ends Saturday am in the wee hours!) of Mercury Retrograde. I have had it with it this time! I don’t even WANT TO TELL YOU how many machines have broken, how spacey and disorganized I have been and how, well, confused I have felt.
Actually, if you have been reading Dujour, I’m sure you have had many occasions lately to read the morning tome and go, ‘Huh?’ so you know what I’m talking about. I want to tell you a happy Merc Retro story, though. It’s a great illustration of trines, as well.
In my chaos, I left a bunch of bills with parts unfinished on my desk. Audrey in her helpful efficiency scooped them up and posted them. One of them was a Pro-Gas bill, with one check and $200.00 cash, which was to be converted to a money order. The letter was unsealed.
So, there went my money, flying through space in a letter with an open flap, two little Ben Franklin’s just smiling from the surface of that flat, green paper, and me in a fetal position at the back of my closet (it’s quiet and dark in there). I really couldn’t afford to give this money to the “Ether Fairies of the 6th Dimension”, so I was bummed.
We called the gas company on Monday (the Moon, it just so happened, joined Saturn to create a grand trine to my Sun) and we explained to a very sympathetic woman about the envelope. She told us that our check was not going to Napa, (where she would get it) but to Richmond, Ca. (oh, woe is me) but she would let us know if by a remote snowball’s chance in the Southern Regions if it should ever arrive.
As it turns out, I was in the movie store looking for a movie that was all checked out when Wally called to tell me that the envelope arrived in Richmond, with both Ben’s snuggly inside, and all was well! By the way, right then someone returned the movie I was looking for (Good Night, Good Luck) so my money arrived, my movie came in, and I left the movie store and went right out and bought a lottery ticket.
Heck, a sign’s a sign, and a trine’s a trine!

Moon in Sagittarius
Moon in Sagittarius square Mercury in Pisces @ 2:46 a.m.
Moon in Sagittarius sextile Venus in Capricorn @ 3:11 a.m.
Moon in Sagittarius oppose Mars in Gemini @ 7:45 a.m.
Moon in Sagittarius sextile Neptune in Aquarius @ 11:32 a.m.
You know, writing Dujour yesterday was off the charts difficult!
I went round and round, delete-de-do, and I kept looking at my ‘copy’ and thinking, ‘Huh?’ When the writing doesn’t make sense to the writer, you know you’re in trouble. I thought, ‘heck, it’s the first day of spring, Sun & Moon are in trine, all’s right with the world’ right?! Why, then, do I feel so bubble-headed?
I couldn’t think. It was my day off and I just wandered from room to room in a weird mood and confused! Eventually, I ventured out into the world on a shopping expedition with my mother in law. I was interested to note that everywhere we went there was someone saying how weird they felt that day. Humm….so, you all remember the first rule of astrology, n’est pas, sweet little ‘hoppers’? Yes! Observe then trace the celestial patterns.
Up went the chart of spring.
It was not exact on the day of spring, so I missed it, but you remember that we often feel these aspects before they are exact, since that’s when the ‘gravity’ of their influence seems to be greatest, right? The weird aspect that everyone seemed to feel yesterday, which is exact today, is a major, mutable T-Square!
This T-Square is between the Moon (Sag) Mercury (Pisces) and Mars (Gemini). Two other planets are in the mix as well, but their aspects are not exact degrees. Pluto is approaching a conjunction to the Moon in Sag and then there is the ever-present Uranus (chaos-maker extraordinaire) in Pisces as well. In addition to this, I realized that this first day of spring, 2006 (aka Vernal Equinox) fell directly in the middle of a lunar and solar eclipse. Yikes!
What’s any of this mean?
It means we will be influenced by our usual do-wop trio—agitation, confusion, and fear! BIRD FLU—BOO! (ha, just kidding!)
(By the way…. I got a great email yesterday from my friend Maryanne and it said: “Headline News: In an attempt to thwart the Bird Flu, George Bush has bombed the Canary Islands” ) It would be funny if it weren’t so close to true.
I have been rather ‘off’ politics lately. I thought with the endless rain and all, I would take a break (were you grateful or bored?).
Well, after this last weekend, no more Ms Nice Guy. I was enflamed by the fact that there was a world-wide protest in response to the 3rd year’s anniversary of Bush deciding to preemptively bomb the heck out of a country that had done nothing to us, all he would say is “It’s all good, we are ‘winning’.’ HA! Remember that saying, ‘Winning a war is like winning an earthquake?’ His idea of winning is strange, I bet he would have a different opinion if one of his daughters was stationed in Iraq. It all just reminds us that he is so out of touch with what it is like to be a real person. In case you are interest, look it up on Google. Here’s just one example: http://www.suntimes.com/output/jesse/cst-edt-jesse211.html
You know, however, the aspects that brought him Katrina will be happening one more time. At the end (31st) of May, and ALL of June, July and August, Saturn will move into W’s first house of VISABILITY, and the protective aspects that he has been hiding behind will be pulled back. Hope it’s so.
Anyway, today has that “T-Rx” aspect exact, and I feel better. Strange species, humans. Perhaps now the aspect is exact, the air will soon clear and we will be gearing up to be able to get on with it and ENJOY OUR SPRING!!!
PS…Just got an entry from Pam Burns-Claire for her site—wow, she’s really psychically tuned in to the T-square! http://www.cardinalstarsystems.com/special/spirit.html
Daily Stars
Moon enters Sagittarius @ 12:43 a.m.
Moon in Sagittarius trine Saturn in Leo @ 9:20 a.m.
Sun enters Aries @ 10:26 a.m. (Vernal Equinox)
Moon in Sagittarius square Uranus in Pisces @ 10:45 p.m.
The spring of 2006 begins with the Sun and the Moon in a spirit of elemental cooperation, as both of our light-giving icons slide into fire signs within hours of each other!
We are leaving the season of the Warrior behind us, and we enter the season of the Healer. In winter, the season of the Warrior, we are without fire—it is the missing element. To heal us, the first thing we get from Great Spirit is fire—every year!
The Vernal Equinox, the beginning of our celestial year, always begins with Aries, a cardinal (first) fire sign, but this year we get additional megawatts of flame from Luna’s entry into mutable fire, Sagittarius—an electrical energy, and between these two, fire is returned to us in a blaze of glory!
The force, power and determination associated with the Sun, will find a way to blend and harmonize with the sensitivity, intuition and receptivity of the moon. They will meet in the element of fire, and the resource of fire is all about spirit, passion and POWER!
In the spring for our alchemical purposes, we are given fire (Aries) earth (Taurus) and Air (Gemini) to use to create with, but we are missing water. Humm….you’d never know it from the weather! It’s hard to sit and write about the glories of spring when grey torrents of water crystals flood the day. Still, it is a good omen. I remind you all that since spring is the season of The Healer, and water is the missing element, it is imperative that we bring it in for ourselves. This makes crying, drinking (er, water, of course) and raining, power energies!
Anyway, I am off to use the ultimate power ritual of spring, merging the missing element of water with the recently returned element of fire, and have myself a long, hot bath. Ahhh…
Wishing you all a Happy Celestial New Year!

Moon in Scorpio trine Mercury in Pisces @ 8:35 p.m.
Geesh. Moon square Saturn square Venus….and Mercury square Mars….and sirens blasting in the background as I write this. Yeah. I have been feeling it all, what about you, Grasshoppers? It could be me, but it seems like it has been a rough week at the Galactic Core.
The good news is that the Mars/Mercury square is exact today (this is the cranky one) and after it ‘peaks’, it is likely to dissipate. Not a moment too soon, as far as I am concerned!
This would be a good day to take it easy, if that option is open to you. It is a good day for sweet, solitary time. We are at the cusp of changing seasons. Winter will soon give way to spring (Monday, 10:26 a.m.) and this cusp is one that begs us to come to our center, in order to ‘release’. Think of nature releasing her frozen self. Spring is a violent outburst of letting go. Today and tomorrow are the last of the winter days in this year of 2006, and then the new year will OFFICIALLY begin, according to the seasons led by the Sun. Enjoy these last two days of winter.

(From the teachings of Angeles Arrien, these are the characteristics of the Winter, the Season of The Warrior)
Today we say goodbye to the season of The Warrior.
We have been traveling through the North Land, in the element of Air, and our totem allies have been All of the Winged Creatures. Our resource has been the recourse of Power.
In meditation our form has been to Stand. In the ways of living we choose Right Action. Even when the circumstances are difficult, we choose to Show Up as it is the only way to influence change. Avoidance is a sign of the wounded warrior.
To help our winter journey, we have the healing salve of Dancing. Our instrument is the Rattle, and we live in the season of the Winter.
Tonight we show up in Power for ourselves, we Dance and shake the Rattle to join with the force of change. In our dreams we will fly with our allies, the Winged Creatures.
Tomorrow we will welcome spring.

Shor’n’be golly, ‘tis St. Patrick’s Day, to be sure!
So, what’s that to a good Pagan girl such as myself? It’s a stretch, I’ll tell ya!
Okay, first I have to say, who doesn’t love the Irish? (Except for maybe the English) Who doesn’t love merriment? I mean, this holiday is an occasion to drink green beer—you can’t pass THAT up. Still, the very holiday itself is one that stands for a way of life that was ‘conquered’, to (as far as I’m concerned) the great detriment of us all.
This is the holiday that celebrates, ‘driving the snakes from Ireland’ but it has very little to do with snakes. There never WERE snakes in Ireland. It had to do with driving out the indigenous, Pagan tribes, who often used snakes as their totem. Snakes are the symbol of regeneration (they shed their skin, their venom used in many, many medications…and Hippocrates had snakes on his healing staff!) The whole idea of what Pagans are (and were) has been so vilified, that people just tremble at the very word.
I may have mentioned it before, but in the dictionary, Pagans are defined as, ‘Earth worshippers who live in the country’. By that definition, I am one of them.
Christianity came to Ireland (and it is rumored that St. Patrick was the one who ‘brought’ it there) and the chieftains and religious leaders reportedly ‘converted’. Let’s see—you have a religion that for century upon century has had its roots deep in its connection to the earth, one that honors and celebrates the seasons, where its wonderful holidays include drinking psychedelic grogs and having wild sex, and it is ancient and shared by all. Then you give it up to kneel on your knees and pray looking down while you are somber, calling yourself a sinner. RIGHT! Like that happened willingly! It’s all about the fear, same as now. think: BIRD FLU! (Aka…BOO!) Told that unless we released our way of worship along with everything we valued and believed in, we would spend Eternity (which is a really long time) in a very unpleasant HOT place, (no trees there at all) ‘we’ eventually relented. This did not happen in a week. This took centuries.
Think about the effects of eliminating the practice of worshipping the earth. We got to go pell mell into the development of land!! Ha! out with the snakes and there goes the neighborhood. When things change, you have to just ‘follow the money’. Someone will always ‘win’ and someone will always ‘loose’.
Okay, so that’s my sour grape essay on the history of how they took my religion away. The women in my family (descending from my birth mother) were always a ‘fey’ lot. My 7 X’s great grandmother was one of the 18 women hung for witchcraft in Cambridge, Mass. I have issues. Anyway, I’m always for the indigenous, but it is always the loosing team.
All that said, we are STILL going out to celebrate tonight (well, it IS a Friday!) and I am wearing my glasses with shamrocks on them. Oh, yeah, and I got my Mother-in-Law a green bagel this morning. Maybe I’ll drink green champagne tonight? Ah, well—you’ve got to roll with the flow. Besides, all of that ‘drinking psychedelic grog and having wild sex stuff’ is back in fashion! Revelry always wins over piety, it’s just a matter of time.
DRIVE SAFELY!!

Moon in Libra trine Mars in Gemini @ 7:16 a.m.
Moon in Libra trine Neptune in Aquarius @ 4:37 p.m.
Over and over, I have danced this morning with that ‘delete’ button. The aspects ‘du jour’ are benign enough, and at first glance it seemed like we were up for a softer day. I couldn’t shake my malaise, and I wondered if it was the endless rain or was it—ta da, da da da, that at 3:05 a.m., the Sun will square Pluto, which is located directly conjunct the ‘Galactic Core’??!!!
Okay, now you KNOW that I am a ‘Trekkie’.
Anyway, here’s where I launch into a reverie that would have some of you jumping off the bridge, so I decided that I would just put up the daily stars and let you live. It’s probably just the rain.
Still….if you dare….Google Galactic Core and read all about it. Then look at the news are see that W is bombing the living heck out of the Iraqi’s today (for their own good, of course—or perhaps it’s to celebrate the anniversary of the start of the war?).
Anyway, I think I’m on the wrong planet.
Have a good day.

Jupiter in Scorpio square Neptune in Aquarius @ 11:01 p.m.
Ah, yes… the Ides of March.
Sinister sounding, n’est pas? I was sorely disappointed when I found out that ides just meant ‘middle’. The ides of any month is the 15th day of that month, so happy Ides!
(As you all know, the Ides of March was a date made famous when a ‘soothsayer’ predicted that Julius Caesar would have a very bad day on the Ides of March. It happened thusly, so it was one for the soothsayer, zero for Caesar!)
Anyway, THIS ides has Luna leaving her eclipse drama and slipping into Libra in an attempt to re-balance the world she darkened yesterday. She will have her work cut out for her, since today holds a Jupiter/Neptune square, and when these two really big Titans square-off, there’s intensity in the air! It’s exaggeration and overwhelm (Jupiter) vs. self deception and drama (Neptune). Yeah, that describes my morning!
I have watched my mind do all sorts of pirouettes this week, and I have been chalking it up to that eclipse. Yesterday, everyone I ran into was either sick or spaced out, and I felt less alone in my insanity. I did my usual, “Ahhhhh…..” when I noticed that there is an exact Jupiter/Neptune square today, I realized it was intensity piled on to intensit. Yesterday was the build-up aspect, and you know that is always the strongest influence!
Today’s Jupiter/Neptune square creates an edgy energy, so just breathe, take things one at a time, and don’t try to take too much on. If at all possible, your mantra for the day is: Simplify. Right. Now how are we supposed to do THAT? (Especially since there is an impending Mars/Mercury square that will be exact on Saturday?) The very nature of this aspect (Jupiter/Neptune) is too-much-ness! Ah, well…it’s always something…
Still, you know there are always celestial compensations, and today’s little helper is the Moon trine Venus aspect which will be exact at 10:00 tonight. Good! That means that those rays of feminine energy will be building up and nurturing us throughout our day. A Venus/Moon trine is about beauty and serenity, a known antidote to edgy squares!
Me, I’m heading outside to have a couple of ‘breath’s’ of freshly washed air before my day begins. Nature, the best Prozac! And it’s free!

Yes, it’s the full moon lunar eclipse today! Today the moonlight ‘goes out’ on the 24th degree of Virgo, at 3:35 p.m. this afternoon. So what the heck does THAT mean?
You guys know that I struggle with the meaning of eclipses, n’est pas? I do not fully SEE what they do. Oh, there have been a couple of births that I have watched, children born on eclipse’s that have had all sorts of problems, but was it the eclipse, or the complex squares in their charts? Sigh.
STILL, I have some speculations here. What IF the lights were out in these certain places? You know, when something is missing, it asks us to return (or create) it! So, with that in mind, here are some speculations on the (possible) influence of this eclipse energy on your sun sign, or (even better) if you know it, your rising sign. This is where your Virgo is, and this is the area where you need to take steps to ‘return the light’. Never forget, light is knowledge, spirit and energy!
If Virgo is in your….
If you are a Virgo, or have Virgo rising….1st House—The House of Aries….take time to be alone, remember that the word alone is ‘all one’. You need to bring the light to your sense of self, a VIP who needs your personal attention!
If you are a Leo, or have Leo Rising….2nd House—The House of Taurus…shine light on your financial needs, sort out, budget, organize. Take things one at a time rather than your entire future…Virgo is ANT medicine, which operates little by little. Eventually you carry the whole piece of bread down the ant hole!
If you are a Cancer or have Cancer rising….3rd House—The House of Gemini…lights out/on in transportation/communication while there is a Mercury Retrograde squaring Gemini! Hummm…what a recipe for misunderstandings! Speak slowly, if people have puzzled looks on their faces when they listen to you, take the time to make your message clear! Care that you are properly understood. Careful when commuting!
If you are a Gemini or have Gemini Rising…4th House—The House of Cancer…Lights out in the home…humm…Home repairs! Finish those project details…or just plain fix the broken lights. Also, see to it that issues that you have ignored are ‘brought to light’ with those you live with. Harmony depends on clarity.
If you are a Taurus or have Taurus rising….5th House—The House of Children and the Heart…time to make homework schedules WORK”! No more letting it slack. Clean their room (they won’t do it) and with order restored, maybe they can get back to balance. For non-children Virgo in the 5th house people, this goes for pets…as well. Also since the 5th house is the arts, it is a great time for bringing structure to creativity. This means, buy paint, organize your yarn, clean your desk, and your ‘inner artist’ will have some ‘light’ to work with!
If you are an Aries or have Aries Rising…6th House—The House of Work and Health let’s see…I’m an Aries, so I WALKED this morning…and I just finished getting Pam Burns-Claire’s new article up and everything archived. I can tell you for a fact, all of this new order does make me feel much better! By the way, you will enjoy the latest Pam article! Go to Special Features…then to As the Spirit Moves Me. For the REST of you Aries, with the lights on/off, try looking at health issues from a new angle. I just signed up to receive this really fascinating health letter on email. It’s controversial, anti-traditional (of course) and you might enjoy it! Go to…www.mercola.com
If you are a Pisces or have Pisces Rising…..7th House—The House of Marriage…If your lights go out there, what brings them back? It’s all about balance. If you feel off, chances are that they feel off too. No victims here, but if you treat the imbalance that way, the eclipse will push the relationship off the edge. It’s not about ‘being nice’. It’s about being a good listener, and hanging in there until there is a compromise. Virgo adjusts…
If you are an Aquarius or have Aquarius Rising…8th House—The House of Sex, Death, Dreams and Taxes…Geez. It’s March 13th…which one do you think is going to take priority? Shinning light on our fears, by the way, is one way to release them. A monster becomes a hat rack, when the lights go on. I suppose this means we all must do our taxes. Not a bad idea anyway, even if we’re NOT an Aquarius! (Hate to give George and Dick more money to blow up the world. Wouldn’t it be great if our taxes really went to make roads and schools and improve medical conditions and feed children and the helpless?) Maybe lights on/lights off here will help us vision it!
If you are a Capricorn or have Capricorn Rising…..9th House—The House of travel, religion, education, higher thought… The eclipse is pointing out the need to bring in more light to your beliefs. What we believe drives everything! Why NOT get a wider perspective? It could also bring some chaos to any matters legally pending (if you are in litigation, that’s not exactly NEW!) With issues of travel, journey’s can be life changing, and with education, is there something you need to see more clearly about your choice of educational path? Now is the time to adjust the tejectory
If you are a Sagittarius or have Sagittarius Rising…10th House—The House of Career and Reputation.. This is all about our role in the ‘outer world’ and what value we bring to The Whole. If you are having your eclipse here, look at what you bring to The World, and think if you would like to add more light. Don’t do it for the money or fame or ego…it only works if you do it for the team!! By the way…this is where the 24th degree of Virgo is in the USA’s chart. The eclipse will happen very close to the USA’s Neptune (22 degrees Virgo) and I really don’t know what that means, but I think it has to do with bringing attention to ‘deception’ (Neptune) in the house of Leadership (10) (where do we START?) but since it’s an eclipse, do you think that that means the The White House will seal all records and tell us all ‘Not to worry our pretty little heads with silly things like the Constitution?” We’ll see! This is a potential critical point!
If you are a Scorpio or have Scorpio rising….11th House—The House of Friends and Politics… It’s all about The Vision. If your eclipse is here, you need to check your ‘vision’. What are your thoughts about future possibilities? Can you bring a brighter vision to the future by releasing past fear and anger? (Hard, huh?) Also, issues concerning your friendships might need attention.
If you are a Libra or have Libra Rising….12th House—The House of Subconscious, hospitals, fear, secret enemies…The PAST….Lights out in the darkness, humm…that’s interesting—what’s darker than dark? What we ‘don’t know/remember is what will hurt us” Time to pay attention to the things we have swept under the carpet! Great time for hypnosis, therapy, massage…everything that helps going within…
Okay. There you go! Wishing you a ‘flashlight’ for the dark…use the eclipse for healing...

Daily Stars
Moon in Virgo
Moon in Virgo oppose Uranus in Pisces @ 1:37 p.m.
Moon in Virgo square Mars in Gemini @ 3:53 p.m.
It’s an edgy little Monday—some Mars/Uranus action and it’s the eve of the Lunar Eclipse!
I feel all of the edgy-ness, and I go searching for answers…and I find some.
While scrolling down Google, under the phrase, “Lunar Eclipse”, I come upon this website with a very interesting take on the up and coming eclipse in Virgo.
De-coding these Sun Sign Astrology interpretations, you need to understand that phrases like, “Selfishness, narrow-mindedness, trouble in employment or with employees is also problematic. Emotional demands can be surprisingly unrealistic. Sorrow in relationships arises due to a lack of passion, fear of financial support or lack of money.” are simply written to describe the reputed “shadow side” of Virgo, where this month’s lunar eclipse will take place. Will every Virgo act that way? Will every Virgo feel that? What about the rest of us and our own ‘inner Virgo?’ The answers are “No, no and it depends”.
What this astrologer, Rob Tillett is pointing out is how Virgo energy feels when it is cut off from the light and therefore vulnerable and insecure. This is, of course, literally what a lunar eclipse does, it cuts off the light.
Anyway, I thought his info was good, and I loved what he said about the Galactic Core (Eric Francis talks a great deal about the Galactic Core and this helps me understand it better) and the solar eclipse info is fascinating, since I’m big on believing that the currant Middle Eastern war has to do with the US and the Euro. Anyway, read all about it! http://www.astrologycom.com/eclipse.html
Virgo actually IS the sign that ‘rules’ work and health in my chart, so I am going to take it easy today & tomorrow, go within and mend. Where is Virgo in your chart? If it’s lights out there, how can you bring the light back and nurture that spot? That’s why we study this stuff—for that extra ‘edge’.
Bring light to your Virgo spot, and you will be stronger for it
Coming tomorrow….suggestions for each sign!
(Half way written, but gotta go…)
