Vindication!
Do you see that aspect of note today, dear readers?
Yet another planet turns around—today, our Jupiter goes retrograde!
Okay, so remember that Thursday Mercury shifted direction, and now two days later Jupiter starts a moon-walk backward, and I’ve been wondering why aliens have taken my brain—not to mention my neck muscles! Holy cosmic whiplash! These are interesting times within interesting times, and yes, I know that the Universe is a moving place, but two retro’s in two days doth make a humanoid woozy, so I feel better just knowing it’s not just me.
Prior to the observation of the two planet two-step, the fact that Mercury is traveling through the Right-Brain Palace called Pisces while ‘conjuncting’ Uranus was enough explanation for how rattled everything and everyone has been lately.
This aspect is a profound one, as Mercury ‘controls and defines’ the condition of the mind in the body collective, and a Pisces brain, you remember, is a non-linear and imaginative brain just as it is, but when you conjunct it with the planet of revolution and awakened ideas, you get a mental hoedown, with thoughts, emotions and out-of-the-box ideas that can create a climate of excitement or insecurity, and I’ve felt both this last week, big time!
Well, Grasshoppers, what is so is this—with this exciting mental terrain scoring the collective mind, there’s never been a better time for our meditation practices! If your life is serene enough that you do not pick up these energies, lend your serenity to the collective.
Tonglin is a Buddhist meditation practice (Monks are doing it right now, as we speak!) where you breathe in the world’s troubles, sorrows, fears, destruction, separation and blues, then you purify these things with your thoughts and heart, and blow out transformed, loving, peaceful re-charged energy! Wow!
That’s a great way to work with those revolutionary conjunctions and cosmic retrogrades! Power to Peace, inside and out!

Sunday
Moon goes Void in Taurus @ 12:14 a.m. and Enters Gemini @ 6:36 a. /m.
Moon in Taurus sextile Mercury in Pisces @ 12:14 a.m.
Venus enters Aquarius @ 12: 39 a.m.
Moon in Gemini trine Venus in Aquarius @ 7:00 a.m.
Moon in Gemini sextile Saturn in Leo @ 4:04 p.m.
Moon in Gemini conjunct Mars in Gemini @ 9:54 p.m.
And the hits just keep on comin!
Today we have another astro-event, our Goddess of love, who was ever-so-briefly in Aquarius last December, (only to retrograde back into the earthy realm of Capricorn, one of her ‘favorites’!) returns again to the idealistic, yet oddly uncomfortable place of Aquarius! Now, if your Venus was in this position when you came to Earth, don’t feel badly about it—but you might have noticed that love is a bit of a puzzle to you, and there is a natural defense mechanism that is in your emotional make-up. It’s a bit like driving with the hand break on. Still, you are steady, loving, and delightful, just well—protected! Past life stuff, no doubt! Maybe too much ‘all for love’ over the top stuff before—Romeo, Juliet, Tristan and Isolde, you know.
Perhaps when you are “up” having your ‘Life Review’ (On Mt. Olympus, or wherever!) after you’ve spent your life throwing yourself into harms way for the heart, the Life Review Committee suggests perhaps you give it a break and take a Venus in Aquarius approach next time. This way, there is a sort of scientific observational quality that you will have to use if your heart is broken, so you will not have to ‘drink the Kool aid’ for love again. Whew! (Cause we know that that gets old!)
Anyway, for the rest of us, this aspect is terrific for The Revolution—the revolution of our own hearts, that is! What is holding you hostage, heart-wise? This aspect has a freeing quality due to its’ even-fairness. Love, you know, is anything but logical and fair. We hope to ACT logical and fair with love, in fact, that is the most accurate expression OF love, but love is so personal, that of course the Heart wants what the Heart wants. We DO with it what Mercury, Mars and what all of the others suggest, but Venus says, “I don’t care WHAT is RIGHT, THIS is what I want!”
Anyway, you see that right after Venus enters her Airy home of Aquarius, Luna immediately joins her in a companion air sign, Gemini! Up, up and away they go—idealistic, lofty and playful….which gives us Earthlings a terrific climate for a social, chattery, light hearted day! Hey—isn’t it The Oscars today?
Who says there’s not some deliberate programming going on ‘upstairs’? This was a day meant for the glittery, (albeit superficial) shenanigans of Entertainment Tonight! Go to an Oscar party today—you will have fun!
Okay, so we see that with the retrogrades completed, my own mind has been release to the subsequent outpouring of several days of words, previously blocked. Think: The Enterprise—all of the gravitational intensity when it lifts off into hyper drive—and then, the easy float once it gets there.
May all of your lift-offs be fun ones! Enjoy these exciting aspects; use them to make a better world! (Just for today--that's life; one day at a time!)
PS....In perfect harmony--I just posted and read a new entry from Pam Burns-Clair, in As The Spirit Moves Me....perfect for FEELING BETTER---thanks Pam!...

Daily Stars
Moon enters Taurus @ 2:22 a.m.
Moon in Taurus square Saturn in Leo @ 11:22 a.m.
Moon in Taurus sextile Uranus in Pisces @ 8:53 p.m.
Well, Grasshoppers, I have to tell you all that you are on your own today.
Saturn square the Moon? Mercury (recently retrograde) conjunct Uranus? Whatever!
Due to circumstances beyond my control (having trouble controlling my mind!) the Dujour part of my brain has been captured by aliens. Under the circumstances, no Dujour is a good Dujour. (Trust me!)
I am confident that I (and any of you who have been influenced by these intense mind-altering aspects) will feel much better this evening when Uranus and Luna end the day in a mutually supportive sextile. Can’t wait! Till then, enjoy the fact that it's Friday!

Daily Stars
Moon in Aries goes Void @ 11:42 p.m.
Moon in Aries sextile Neptune in Aquarius @ 6:45 a.m.
Mercury goes retrograde @ 12:29 p.m. (Pisces)
Moon in Aries trine Pluto in Sagittarius @ 8:36 p.m.
Moon in Aries square Venus in Capricorn @ 11:42 p.m.
Yes. Well, Grasshoppers, you know the drill. It’s Mercury Retrograde today, so duck and cover.
I finally figured it out. Remember the first rule of astrology? Observe and note, and over time see the pattern. So I finally realized that the day before or of a planet changing directions, I always think I’m getting the flu. Yesterday was no exception for me! Achey, and spacey, my ‘bio-pod’ never fails to react this way to this influence. From the state of everyone else I ran into, it’s contagious!
Today, however, the stationary energy will give way to full motion backwards, and the intrepid traveler Mercury will begin to move steadily backward starting at 12:39 high noon, (here on the West Coast of the US) so here we go.
Anyway, Merc hasn’t quite turned yet, so my mind not yet co-operating, I will just put this up on line so you will know the aspects of the day. There’s just one more thing, though, I want to bring up….
Now, you remember that one of the advantages of this aspect is that we travel back over ‘past territory’ and get a chance to catch up with what we have forgotten to complete, yes? Well, the big (big to SOME of us) news has one of those ‘going back over and seeing what was missed’ stories. The story is, the ‘leader’ of the western world, our intrepid ‘W’, was caught on tape being briefed thoroughly about the (eerily accurate) possibilities of the effects of a five magnitude hurricane on southern seaboard. Lo and behold, of course, everything in the briefing occurred. Up this comes from the underworld, just as Mercury moves. It’s also good to see this side-by-side of his famous appearance stating that there was "No possible way they could have know that the levee’s would break". It was easier to be king in the olden days. Gosh, darn, recording devices!
Anyway, it’s always fun to see astrology at work, isn’t it? Don’t forget to look for this on Google news, I’m certain most news shows will try to spin this away.
Okay, so Merc Retro Advice for the day; pay attention in traffic, don’t buy appliances (today, wait till Merc is finally moving) and have fun with the weirdness!

March 1st—eek!
As our new month begins, Luna gets into the theme of ‘fresh starts’ and she too enters a beginning point—she has circled around the zodiac and is now back to the beginning—Luna entered Aries last night—the “official” first sign of the zodiac!
We are at such an interesting time of the year. The beginning of March is when the Winter/Warrior meets the Spring/Healer. This is the ‘darkest before dawn’ time, and it is often the point of a healing crisis.
Crisis, you remember, simply means the point where a decision must be made. With an illness, for example, the crisis point is when our bodies decide whether to heal or die. A crisis can often be a relief—some times we just can’t ‘go on like this’ forever, and that is the point of these aspects. They bring the moment when ‘what is so’ can and will be transformed into what it is destined to be. The bleak terrain of winter, endlessly cold and barren, in March meets the violent, change-or-else weather of spring, and the result is growth! Nature is the ultimate healer and the reminder that nothing is forever.
The theme of change today is enhanced by the fact that it is the day of the exact conjunction (which has actually already occurred @ 3:02 a.m.) of the Sun with the planet of changes itself, Uranus!
Now, as I write Dujour and look out my window, the weather has changed three times already. I think a torrent is just about to hit, and a few minutes ago I was ready to start a soliloquy to sunshine—so change is wonderful but it is also unnerving.
Stay flexible, and chant ‘let go’, let go’, which is the mantra for this day. That feels good! Change is our friend! (Ha!)
Okay, that all said (astrological duties met) in true, Uranian Revolutionary form, I move on to a ‘rant’!
Actually, it’s not a rant at all, but a profound piece of info that I am excited to share with you all.
Confused by ‘weapons of mass deception?’ Hung up trying to get you rhetoric on straight? Do you start a debate about global politics and watch your mind sail off into Neptune Land? Yeah, me too. Then I read this article!
Truthfully, I was daunted by the length of it, and my mind just couldn’t track all of the concepts. This morning I finally made it past the first two paragraphs, (which I had previously read 100 times) into the ‘meat’ of the information, and OHMYGOD….!
Ed (the wonderful man who sent this) was RIGHT!! It ‘splains’ EVERYTHING!!!
So, if you guys want to know what’s going on, clear a few moments, get a cup of tea/coffee, and tune in to this article, read it and grasp it. Gulp. It’s always the same, you know…..you just follow the money…….
