Luna will be merging with Uranus, the planet of change. This will give us the emotional flexibility, the willingness to make those desired changes with a sense of play and adventure! This, however, is just to soften us up for the real change that is to come—what is REALLY going to help our cause, is an aspect that swoops into our celestial scene like a white knight today @ 1:27 p.m., with bravery, structure and conviction! Ta da—all of our ‘lists’ come alive with meaning: We WILL avoid those left-over tempting goodies in shinny boxes, we WILL hike up that mountain (who cares about the rain, the sleet, or the snow?) we WILL clean off that desk, wash those windows and align those cupboards…look, in the sky….it’s a bird, a plane….no, it’s……Mercury in Capricorn!!!!
Well, you all can see that I think this is a GOOD thing. I have high hopes now that our collective ‘brains’ (Mercury) are receiving those micro-wave-brain signals of ‘truth, justice and The Organized WAY ‘ from the discipline-loving sign of Capricorn. With this cosmic force, I have no doubt that we will all return to order and balance in no time!
We have to move fast with this one, like a very efficient house cleaner, our Merc has things to do and people to see, so we will only have his help here until the 22nd of this month. Get those shelves clean and taxes done while you can, cause next stop, Mercury will slide into Aquarius….and this sort of diddly work is just too Plebian for this cosmic philosopher to spend time on! Good luck with those tasks!

Good morning and Happy New Year, my friends!
Yesterday, although I sat here at this desk in the morning, I did not seem to get very far writing you all the newsy, information-packed review of 2006 that I had planned to write. My brain was fairly useless after staying up WAY past my bedtime to see this new year in, which I did with the help of a few friends. I slept as much as I could, but when I awoke, I realized I was on turtle time, my mind in a slow motion gyro-pattern. It must have been why, when the kids said, “Let’s go out for breakfast!”, that I jumped on it (how could I refuse them? So much for starting that diet) and when we got home, I was finally feeling like ‘myself’, fully awake and ready to sit at this keyboard and communicate!
That’s when the power went out.
Did I tell you all about Saturday, New Year’s Eve itself? Yeah, that’s when our bridge floated off of its pilings and we were, well, just HERE. Yeah, it’s been a ‘Berry, Merry, Pluto/Mercury’ sort of holiday here on Splude Road. I have not actually had the time or where-with-all to think about what 2006 ‘will be’ (everyone’s question) I’ve been sentenced to living in the Here and Now….hey, is this a conspiracy?
Anyway, it is still raining, raining, but as I look out at the Vineyard, we seem to still have a road, so I am happy (Aries need escape routes) and I am trying to get current with you all.
I got an email from Pam this morning, and she sent a link to Lance Ferguson’s Skywatch. http://www.skywatchastrology.com/ Lance is a terrific Astrologer, and he is often spot-on (he called Katrina, exactly) and this morning he talked about the current grand square and the Neptune/Moon conjunction of this day. I should have read it before I tried to ‘tidy up’ the Dujour Archives. What a mess. If you ever need a past Dujour (does anyone ever read these?) you will have a Dickens of a time figuring out where everything is….keep clicking away, everything is there, all chopped up. The highlight on the mouse sticks which is why everything is so oddly organized, I had to go with what it would allow me to collect., the Mouse decided how things were grouped. (Maybe it wouldn’t have stuck if Neptune wasn’t conjunct the Moon? Hum….) Anyway, I just wanted to start the New Year with a ‘clean slate’, so Neptune or no Neptune, 2006 stands alone here on today’s Dujour page.
Pam wanted to know my take on Lance’s thoughts of the challenges of the Grand Square. She knows I’m a pushover, usually seeing these things in a ‘lighter’ light. I must say, Pam, it is a tuff time to be a Soothsayer, since there’s nothing very soothing to say about these aspects and the Times in which we live. Then again, there probably hasn’t ever been a whole lot of times when things have been better, either! I mean, after all, we have ipods and airplanes and movies and technological wonders….even if we must deal with our Species. What IS a prediction all about? Two things:
#1) What do we think fellow humans will do that will affect The Whole of our being?
#2) What’s The Weather gonna be like?
That’s it, folks….the rest is PERSONAL!!! (Hard to generalize about six billion people’s horoscope).
So, that in mind, what do I think 2006 will hold?
For some, it will be the best year of their life. They will fall in love, buy a home, have a child, graduate, get the best job EVER, TRAVEL (that would be moi, perhaps?) live a dream…you get my drift…
For others, they will get indicted, get arrested, get divorced, get lost, get drunk, get sober, be in the path of Global Warming Weather, etc….
So, in other words…..Nothing Unusual Here!
Actually, I’m just joking…I really DO think it will be a wild one. We will see, but I’m sure as the ‘year wears on’ we will talk of this and much else…
Right now, everyone is UP (spent too much of my quiet, alone time trying to ‘clean up’ the Archives, sigh) and when they arise, they make noise and my mind says, “Does Not Compute” and off my consciousness goes….and I better post this before anything else blows up, anyway…but as I mentioned on the 31st of last year…I really DO hope you Grasshoppers are some of those people whose 2006 means that you fall in love, buy a house, have a child (if you wanna!) graduate, get the best job ever, travel and live a dream….shoot for the TOP, Happy 2006!
