Okay Grasshoppers, are you paying attention? Did you read your daily stars for the weekend? If you did, you saw that on Sunday, our favorite astrological phenomenon is back again—Mercury is taking his three-time-a-year-ish trip ‘backwards’—yup, he’s going retrograde!
I am actually fairly grateful for the timing this year, for two reasons….one, it will be over with by the 3rd of December (quick one, eh?) and I usually do my Christmas shopping late (at the last-minute, in a panic) and this means I will not be buying most of my electronic items under a Merc/Retro (whew!). This may mean that CD players have a chance at surviving longer than two months…but the second reason is my dreadful, (terribly sorry everyone) hobby lately--national politics!. With Mercury going BACK over everything, perhaps all of those investigation agencies will uncover what is needed to bring the hidden into the light. That’s a Mercury quality, you know! We’ll see…I am sitting here on the sidelines, eating my ‘popcorn’ and watching the show…(actually, I really don’t eat popcorn, the carbs, you know…) it is heating up though, and parts of it are really fun to watch! (Not used to ‘winning’ at this game of politics, for years now!)
Politics aside, Mercury will travel back from the 11th degree of Sagittarius (hey—there is that 11 number again!) back into Scorpio (on the 26th of this month) until it goes direct on the 3rd of December. It will not hit the 11th degree again until December 21st, so THAT is when all of the effects of this transit begin to loosen up. So, for a last minute shopper such as myself, this is okay, for the rest of you prudent folk, don’t forget the Mercury Retrograde advice: Buy the Warranty!
Have a great weekend!

Daily Stars
Moon in Pisces Void @ 7:33 a.m. enters Aries @ 7:22 p.m.
Moon in Pisces trine Sun in Scorpio @ 12:44 a.m.
Moon in Pisces square Pluto in Sagittarius @ 7:33 a.m.
I have this absolute THING for November 11. Actually, I inherited it from my cousin Denise.
A few years back, we were having a telephone conversation when she asked me what significance the number 11 had. She said every time she seemed to look up at the clock, it said, 11:11! I told her it was a ‘master number’ in numerology, but I didn’t really know what that meant. However, the 11 thing proved to be contagious, and now, “every” time I look at the clock, 11:11 is staring back at me!
Ironically (or cosmically) one year after our conversation, my favorite uncle, Denise’s dad, died on November 11! I flew to Connecticut (where I was born and had not been for 30 years!) and was there when he left the Red Dirt Road of Earth. My uncle Bob was my favorite uncle. He brought me home from the hospital when I was born, and he walked me down the isle when I was married. He left this planet on 11/11/02, so that is three years now, and every time when I look at the clock and it says 11/11, I say, “Hi Uncle Bob!” He’s around a lot…I like that.
So, someone sent me this email about cosmic stuff happening with the master number of 11. I was saving it until today, 11/11, but you know how those ‘saving’ things go—I have been clicking through my emails clear back to September—I really don’t know what happened to it, maybe I imagined it? So, what I did was ask my favorite source of information (Google) “What is the significance of the number 11?” and here are two really interesting bodies of knowledge that Google had to share with us:

Have fun with these, Grasshoppers!

Daily Stars
Moon in Pisces
Moon sextile Venus in Capricorn @ 12:40 a.m.
Moon conjunct Uranus in Pisces @ 4:00 a.m.
Moon square Mercury in Sagittarius @ 9:29 a.m.
Moon sextile Mars in Taurus @ 3:42 p.m.
While writing out the daily stars this morning, I noticed there was a conjunction of the Moon and the planet called The Awakener, Uranus, at 4:00 a.m. today—and boy, did I feel it! My eyes flew open and I lay there wondering just why I was awake! I guess The Awakener doesn’t need a reason, this swirling ball of rock just wants everyone to get up with him! I was up early enough to spend some quality time drifting between the worlds, floating in the “Alpha” zone (my favorite location) and then I started thinking about the 100,000 things that I haven’t done, and that quickly levitated my being, out of its warm cocoon bed, out into this day.
My morning routine is sweet, it’s one of my favorite times of day. All of the critters want their morning ‘goodies’, and after attention is given, with my precious coffee hot and in hand, I sit at this very entertaining screen and see what many of the other six billion humanoids are doing today.
Yesterday, so very much ‘went down’! You know about the election results, and I’m sure you have seen all of the tragic stories about bombing in the Israeli hotel, the riots in France, the amusing story about Bush Administration people taking ‘Ethics’ classes (nope, you can’t MAKE me say anything about that, it’s too perfect just as it is) and the continuing saga of White House scandal. Just a day in the life. But did you see THIS one? A brave group of REPUBLICAN Senators have refused to sign the budget bill until/unless the Alaskan drilling portion ANWR is removed!!!! So that’s where it stands! We now have a ‘Stay of Execution’ for the lives of some of our oldest, most innocent residents on the planet, the animals of the Arctic Wilderness…..yippee!!! Of course, that’s today…no telling what will happen tomorrow…and that’s life on the blue-green planet…and I say again, it is those REPUBLICAN Senators who made the difference, since most of the Democrats have always voted against it anyway.

Never forget the ONLY truth in the UNIVERSE: Things change. Stay open, stay amazed, (and amused) keep your vision clear….(by the way, did you read the message from The Andromeda Guides in Pam Burns-Clair’s column? I added a new piece of the message this morning) Anyway, they say much the same thing—it’s not about ‘sides’, it’s all about the (seemingly slow) human process, but we are inevitably moving towards ‘awakening’.
For that, today’s Moon/Uranus will be very helpful!

Daily Stars
Moon in Aquarius goes Void @ 4:30 a.m. enters Pisces @ 4:22 p.m.
Moon in Aquarius sextiles Pluto in Sagittarius @ 4:30 a.m.
Moon in Pisces trines Jupiter in Scorpio @ 9:56 p.m.
Wow. This is the first, ‘morning after the night before of an election’ in years that you wouldn’t find me curled in a fetal position in a darkened room. I feel connected again, not so all alone (like the last five years). The people have spoken, and what they said was, “Respect us, listen to us, and our opinions and needs matter”. Simple as that—California is not a Monarchy, but in fact, a Democracy.
What the heck IS politics? It is interesting to note that yesterday the Moon (and part of today, too….) was in Aquarius, the sign of community, equality, and fair governance for all. Wow, sometimes this stuff works! Still, we now have to use what we fought for. We must find a way to ‘All live together’ here in the state of Mecca (Heaven) that is this beautiful place on earth. We still have to figure out how to come up with the money to fund teachers, nurses, fire fighters, etc. And that means skipping the partisan thing and brainstorming. There is ALWAYS a way, and when you stop blaming someone else and get to it, it is amazing the solutions you can find!
{Listen, speaking of money, this is off topic (sort of) but I heard that W. has borrowed more money—from China, Social Security—er, that would be YOU, England, France, etc—than any other president before him—COMBINED!!!! Yes, you heard me! And I thought MY credit card problems were bad…}
Anyway, did I ever tell you that Arnold’s and W’s charts have quite a few similarities? I sincerely wish I could post the visual of their charts, as when they are super-imposed they are startlingly similar. W. has just finished his Saturn & Jupiter returns (over the last couple of months) and Arnold is IN his right now.
It is at this time in our lives (58 years old) when everyone has a Saturn Return. Yesterday’s election was on the exact day that Saturn was the same degree as it was in Arnold’s natal chart—11 degrees of Leo! I think what we saw here was the Karma of spending over 300 million dollars (combined, really!) to deal with California's money problems!!! Saturn is a logical guy, spending this money was NOT logical!
This is a very important time for each of us in our lives, this 58th year. It is when we show ourselves what we’re made of. Arnold has a very ‘delft’ chart, in other words he ‘bounces’, so expect him to make lemonade from those lemons. Jupiter is returning in his chart as well. In Arnold’s natal chart his Jupiter in Scorpio trines his Mercury and Venus in Cancer, a very charismatic aspect, hence his great public appeal.
The one that I am truly sorry about is Measure M. It is not good to fool Mother Nature, and I am fearful of those Frankenseeds and their potentially dominating influence on the WHOLE of our ecosystem. So, if they just TAKE OVER and their proponents say, “Whoops”, what satisfaction is THAT? Hum….well, we’re not going to live forever anyway….
By tonight the Moon will have entered her water Pisces slot. Didn’t I just write that? Aren’t we spinning at a really fast rate? This is the problem with a circular Universe; it is too much like a Merry Go-Round!
Anyway, I hope this election winds up doing what it is supposed to….dividing the power equally in the hands of the people. We NEED better education….we NEED a better medical system (we REALLY do!) and we NEED to listen and respect each other!
Let’s all VISION that everyone WILL take responsibility for their choices, needs and the influence of those choices, and the effects that they have upon each other and the earth. HEY—it could happen!!

Moon in Aquarius
Moon sextile Mercury in Sagittarius @ 4:29 a.m.
Moon oppose Saturn in Leo @ 8:24 a.m.
Moon square Mars in Taurus @ 2:02 p/m/
Moon conjunct Neptune in Aquarius @ 2:44 p.m.
Moon square Sun in Scorpio @ 5:57 p.m.
Maybe it’s the t-square, maybe it’s political burn-out, or maybe it’s the pinched nerve in my neck (writing resistance?) but in spite of waiting patiently for the Muse to show, it appears that I am on my own today. So you know what? I’ll let it be—I’m off to vote, and then putter my way through the day…and you know I hate to tell you what to do (ha ha) but hey, Grasshoppers—just in case those voting machine’s AREN’T rigged, get out there and give ‘em your opinion! It’s still free! (for a little while, anyway….!)

Daily Stars
Moon void in Capricorn until 1:31 p.m. , then enters Aquarius
Mars in Taurus squares Neptune in Aquarius 10:09 a.m.
Moon in Aquarius squares Jupiter in Scorpio @ 6:17 p.m.
Venus in Capricorn sextiles Jupiter in Scorpio @ 9:46 p.m.
It’s a fairly ‘yin’ day in the planets (six out of ten planets are in earth or water signs, the receptive ones) and it’s a ‘yin’ day in the weather, too…rain, rain, dark moody sky….just beautiful! Nature entices us to go ‘inward’ and ‘gather’. Gather what? That, as always, depends on the needs of our own lives.
I, (of course) have a suggestion, if you live here in Cal-ee-forn-ee-a, we need to gather our information and prepare for tomorrow’s ‘special election’, I mean after all, we DID spend over fifty million dollars (+) for it, so we might as well use it—gather your facts and place your vote tomorrow!
Lots of different opinions about the propositions, you all know where I stand, just read the small print to find out where YOU stand.
There is one that I DO urge you to check out, it’s Proposition #79—there was so much money spent to fight it, you really need to look at the corporate agenda here. http://www.pasadenastarnews.com/opnyourview/ci_3180503 You will see (if you are quick, they only flash this stuff for a second at the end of the commercial) that it is supported by Johnson & Johnson and other drug companies. This measure is all about the state being able to negotiate for reduced cost of drugs. Controversial, eh? Read the small print! This one could be SO HELPFUL! It was, by the way, consumer drafted—that means that actual people got together and drew up a simple bill to help with the rising cost of drug profits, (which we know is a ‘sacrament’) but oh, well.
Vote YES on 79 and NO on 78 and be a rebel—with a really GOOD cause!
The other one that is really, really important is just here in Sonoma County.
YES on M!!!
Don’t let “Frankenseeds” (genetically altered seeds) to ‘take root’ here in the county. They ‘travel’ and do not allow organic seeds to live—they take over!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Please, please vote YES (which is actually no, we will not use these genetically altered seeds, for ten years—long enough to find out more about their (possibly dangerous) effects! ) The fact that yes means no is very telling—it’s a very common political ‘trick’. Sigh. Aren’t we all so sick and tired of being tricked?
So, gather ye knowledge while ye may…the life you ‘save’, may be your own!
PS.... And now for something TOTALLY DIFFERENT, and INSPIRATIONAL, tune in to Pam Burns-Clair's column and read what the Andromeda Guides have to say!
