Today Luna arrives at her monthly ‘spa’ of Pisces, and as she does every month these days, she connects with her exotic and revolutionary friend Uranus, who has a long term lease in this water sign. (There are five more years on the Pisces ‘lease’!)

This is always an exciting aspect, and we Mortals will experience this monthly connection as emotional, imaginative and creative.  This is an especially strong theme today, as another group of planetary participants, Venus, Saturn and Pluto, are traveling together in the other element of passion, the element of fire!

What this means to us individually is always unique to the ‘receptors’ in our own charts, still think about it—fire and water are the primal ingredients of creation, ‘sentient soup’ as it were, and this is valuable raw material for implementing change.

I guess the big thing to keep in mind is that creation happens, whether we think we’re creating or not!  If we are depressed, have low energy or are stuck in anger, this is our creation, too.  While it is very true that the aspects outside of us affect us profoundly, we still have the power to effect change from the inside.  The outer influences just determine whether our goal is an easy or difficult one to accomplish.

When you read what extraordinary humans have accomplished, you realize that the most compelling stories are those of courage, and rising above ‘impossible’ circumstances.  When the aspects are the most difficult, that’s when the story gets good!  We humans have always and will always ‘go down into the cellar’; otherwise, there would be no story!

One of my favorite quotes, I’m sure each of you has had repeated in your reading, at least once.  It is all about creation, and a man who created and changed how we live (who knows whether he changed it for the better or not, but that’s not the point) is Henry Ford.  He knew what he was saying when he said, “Whether you think you can, or whether you think you can’tYou’re Right!!”

Take today’s fire and water and JUST DO IT! (And have fun while you're at it!)
